Beautiful protective garden fence covering
I really like this fencing to help provide shade and a wind break for my garden plants. I am currently ordering more to finish out the little side garden that i enlarged because my plants are outgrowing it. This fencing is easy to install. I set it up by attaching with metal zip ties to previously constructed fencing made out of cattle panel and other grid type metal and t-posts.(mostly recycled materials) I have not experienced problems with mold or discoloration. I do live in Terlingua, Texas (Chihuahuan desert) and my climate may have something to do with the preservation of fence coloration. I have also bought reed fencing and cut it up for shade roofs in certain areas. I love the 1” whole bamboo fencing best for its strength and looks, but have found that even in the desert it gets a little moldy discoloration and it’s more expensive. I hope i have helped someone to make good choices. Happy gardening to all.(My husband built the shade structure out of recycled materials and i ordered the shade cloth to match fencing on Amazon as well. The netting on the stick tee pee trellis that my dad built is a worn out hammock)

Wow! Perfect for privacy
I absolutely love the fence. I put it up a couple of months ago and it has held up well. It’s ziptied to my fence and creeks when it gets windy just like how bamboo would and should. Gives me ample privacy from my neighbors and their drive way and creates a beautiful little nook for us. Love it. Did a LOT of research and decided to give this one a shot and waited for a while before writing this review. Buy it ! You won’t be sorry. They seem t look better as they weather out in the sun. Also the fact that I’ve jet sprayed them during my plant watering might have helped get those black patches out. They are naturally occurring and will go away with time and sun exposure. It’s a perfect fence and much better when compared to the reed ones. Thy are strong enough to hold my string lights too. I love it!

Sturdier than “bamboo reef”
I like that the slats in this bamboo fence are sturdier than the bamboo reef fence that I previously ordered (that was more like thin and super messy hay) and returned. With this one - I was able to create a “tropical outdoor room” on my covered balcony in a rental community - using this bamboo fence as a privacy, as well as sun, rain, wind, dust shield - without blocking sun light or sky view in Southern California.Yes, agreed, one side of this bamboo fence is kind of “ugly looking” but the other side is nice and light in color! I used the light colored side towards me and the green/black speckled side towards the neighbors. Lol. And no, it’s NOT mold. It’s normal. Just not pretty. Get over yourselves already! (Other reviewers)More aspects that I like about this fence is that it was fairly easy to staple gun between the slats without creating major damage to a (rental) patio/ balcony stucco wall. And also, I was able to clip the metal wires to add and/or end one section to the next. (I bought two fences). Just twist the metal wires together to make it longer or cut and twist where you want it to end!I also accidentally broke off the top of one bamboo stake in the middle of one of the sections. Broke off the rest of it in pieces and replaced it with another one. No biggie. Get creative!!I imagine I’ll take this with me to my next rental apartment home. It’s sturdy and good to go.I strongly suggest that you lay this fence down on a flat surface and pulling - stretching out - the metal wire and all - with a second person to help you out - before you put it in place. Also make sure that the slats are completely vertical during the installment of wherever you want them. I used a “bubble leveler” but I’m a little bit nuts. So yeah. I hope you found this information useful.Good luck and enjoy!

Very well built!!
I used this product a little differently than just a bamboo fence, however the close weave was even perfect as a fence. The bamboo and wire was perfect to build this barn door and use bamboo oil to preserve it.

Ok quality but size incorrect
This product is ok in quality. It's advertised as 6'x 14' but it was only 6' x 13' I bought 2 of them and they were both 6x13. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's not the size it was advertised.

Perfect
We use it as a privacy fence for our balcony. It’s great. Hides everything, difficult to see through, and it’s not ugly. It’s the appropriate length and height. My neighbors have since copied our privacy fence.

Just what I wanted
Blocks my backyard neighbors view into my yard. It’s a bit sheer so it allows light and form but it feels good. Not a FU to my neighbor but just the right amount of division. Fence is tall. Easy to handle (wear gloves to avoid splinters) I connected it to a chain link fence with zip ties. Took me about 45 minutes to attach two of these to my fence. Critters broke off some of the slats toward the bottom to re-establish their path from one yard to another (possum? Skunk? Squirrel? Raccoon?) but otherwise it’s intact still after about three months. Perfect for my purposes.
