Bamboo Slat Fence, 5'H x 14'L

Bamboo slit into 1/2" to 3/4" strips approx. The inside of bamboo strips are all on one side for a very clean light beige. The outsides of the bamboo strips, the other side, are more varied, mottled in darker shades of brown with some blacks and dark browns. I put the lighter side facing into my patio and the darker side facing the street 20 feet away. Looks great from both sides.The bamboo is bound by black wire not string so UV is not a problem. The wire is thin so install with care. I found the wire to be plenty strong for stringing vertically like a fence. I broke one wire, but it was easy splice in a short section wire with my first fingers. No knots needed, just a few twists of the wire to make loops in the ends. I used wire I had on hand to fix it as good as new.The length was accurate. The 5 foot height was accurate and the cuts are very clean and consistent. Packing was a woven mesh bag that kept the product clean and protected from scuffs. Bamboo is very durable and does not need padding, it does not dent so the bags are just right: Easy to open with sIssors and minimal disposal.I paid full price, not a promotion.

This fence looks nice and seems to be built well enough for outdoor use. The spacing between the slats in not tiny, so don’t expect it to create perfect privacy; you might need to double-up to prevent viewing. But for my purposes, it’s great… sturdy enough to stand upright and should survive winter outdoors. There were a lot of stringy bamboo fibers on the edges of the strips, but a quick exposure to flame removed them cleanly. (Have some water nearby, just to be safe.)

I purchased 2 bundles to cover my front yard. It gives you enough privacy, but you can still see through it. It did splinter a lot so be careful when putting this up, make sure to use gloves. It doesn't come with any zip ties to secure it to my fence, so make sure to purchase some.

Very disappointed when I received this! I have ordered half a dozen of these bamboo fences, and they were all great, but this one was awful. It was very old, dirty, moldy, and had broken slats. Not sure what happened here, but I had to repackage it (not easy!) and mail it back to them in order to get a refund. Now I need to start over again and order a new one, and hope that it is better quality. I expected better from this company.

I am sometimes so skeptical when buying these sort of things online but was having the hardest time finding it. Hands down this bamboo is so nice and not cheap looking! Its very sturdy and extremely easy to put up!

So, the outside of the fence is weathered looking while the inside that was rolled up looks fresh. It was well packaged. It is laced with wire not string like some. We wanted this for a privacy screen on one side of our hot tub. We have noisy neighbors. When it stops snowing, we'll put it up to see if it works.

Fast arrival. Sturdy fabric bag packaging. Actual color is perfect; slightly muted from the online yellow/orange depiction. The substantial bamboo slats are almost flat, smooth and shiny on one side, natural matte finish on the other. Meets my need for visual screening with direct view muted. Installed on a 12’ Ranch-style tubular gate, the fencing should hold up until our high desert sun bakes it, maybe ten years or more. Another order for four more rolls will be mounted on an existing open-grid 2x4 wire fence to provide similar screening from a neighboring side yard. This is not a total privacy fence, yet provides some relief from gusty winds. But hey, what is private in today’s world?

The fence is good quality and very easy to install. Nice natural color.
