Gossip Girl: Because I'm Worth it: A Gossip Girl Novel

I have loved the GG series for over a decade. I wish the series could be revived. These are fantastic. Cecily was brilliant. I read them for high school and into college. My mom read them, too. They're good for teens and adults alike.

I certainly wouldn't have bought this on my own for my 12-year old granddaughter, but after listening to the lyrics on some of her songs, I realized that you can't censor them, but have to rely on whatever values you've been able to instill earlier on. She really loves this stuff; I have absolutely no idea what it is about.

Can't stop reading, but that's because I can't stop a series once I've started. I'm dedicated. Lol but I like it but at the same time I just don't feel like the characters are realistic and maybe that's because I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and we don't have super duper rich heiresses running around, or I haven't met one.

As I continue to re-read the Gossip Girl series now as an adult (first read in high school) I do see the glaring problems with showing bulimia and not in a this person is suffering and needs help kind of way, but in a as long as she stays thin and beautiful everyone around her will pretend everything is all right kind of way. I think a book written specifically for a preteen/teenage female audience should be a bit more responsible.

I really like these books. They are different from the show but still good in their own way. I would recommend them to anyone who likes to read, and if they like to compare and contrast between the books and show.

I am addicted to these books. They constantly have you wondering what is going to happen next. Great books for young adults.

This book and all the others is great! A little too much detail sometimes, but it's still very intriguing and perfect for teenagers who like drama.

I bought this for my high school daughter. She has read the entire series. The books make for good summer reading. There isn't much true depth or content to the story, but who wants to do deep thoughtful reading when on vacation?
