RockportMen's Eureka Walking Shoe

I work in an office where casual dress is the norm. I can wear these with a tie or open collar. The materials are excellent. All leather uppers. Does not stain. Water dries and no marks afterwards. Very comfortable. True to size. These are very good looking shoes. I wore a similar style shoe made by Nunn Bush before these. Nunn Bush gel sole beat these Rockports in the comfort aspect but the Nunn Bush sole wore out within a year and the side of the NBush shoes lost their firmness. After a while it was I wasn't wearing a shoe. It was like I was wearing two deflated tires on my feet. These Rockports are built solid. You lose a little in comfort but the Rockports are a much better shoe overall and they look better than NBush.

One of my family members have very wide, very high feet and it is a true task to find shoes that fit. These shoes actually fit! This is the first time I ever heard< "I feel like I am walking on a cloud". Normally, I either buy adjustable slides but he needed something that covered his feet. These shoes are high quality. There is a lot more stitching than glue, giving me the hopes that these shoes will last.They look good, feel good and they are definitely keepers. I will buy more Rockport shoes when necessary as they are one of the few companies that sell EEEE shoes. What a relief! My search is over and I won the quest. And to think I was just buying the name; well, the name now means more than 'status', it means QUALITY!

These are awesome shoes. They last for a very long time. They run a bit tight, and pretty stiff. I use old-school techniques, that I learned in the Army, for new Rockports. I put them on, and wear them for an hour. I'm not going to lie, they chew on my feet pretty hard for that hour. Then I wear them for a couple of hours, on some errands that require walking. They start out biting pretty hard, but after a couple of hours, they feel like a good pair of gloves, and they're like walking on clouds. The third time, I wear them to work. I pack a spare pair of shoes, in case my feet get too sore, but they usually don't. After that third day, they might be a little hard to put on, but once on, they're super comfortable. I have a pair that are 5 years old, still look great for office work, and are one of two pairs of shoes that I go to when I know I'm going to be on my feet a lot. It's a process to break them in, but good leather requires break in. These shoes are worth it!

As a former shoe salesman for a department store, I was very familiar with the Rockport brand and styles of shoes. It may not be Cole Haan, Ecco, Johnston & Murphy, or Josef Seibel, but don't let that stop you. These Rockport shoes are very comfortable and fit true to size. I wear a common size (9.5 USA/43 EU) and they feel fantastic. They look great with jeans, casual khakis, even cargo shorts. The comfort is on par with far more expensive brands. There's plenty of room in the toe box and I find the arch support to be very comfortable. The leather is of very good quality and overall construction and durability of the outer sole is excellent. These are an excellent shoe for comfort and I highly recommend them.

These are the best shoes I've ever owned, and I don't give that statement easily. These have been my daily walkers now going on 3 years. they obviously show some signs of wear but they are still completely together and no holes! like you would expect with other shoes. comfy to walk in for miles and they are still winterproof. best of all, I got these for a great price and now, today, you can finance it with amazon? need a new pair of shoes but are stuck in a rut? this will help you walk out of it. I'm going with rockport next time, too. Eureka, it's a no-brainer! get them.funny thing, when I got these shoes one lace seemed way shorter than the other one even though they were laced the same and they were the same length when I finally took them out and replaced them.

Purchased for 3 reasons: brand known for comfort, genuine leather, and excellent price. The price was right, but the other 2 reasons were a bust. Bought these for my husband because he is on his feet teaching all day. He never wore them to school because the leather was stiff and they were also uncomfortable on the back of his heels. The price was right, but the fit was not so we had to return.

The Rockport Eureka Walking Shoe is comfortable, stylish, and very affordable. I have worn Rockport shoes for many years and continue to buy them because of their comfort and quality. I also wear these shoes to work because of their dress shoe look.
