U.S. Navy Customizable Rank Insignia Drinkware Ceramic Coffee/Cocoa Mug and Mason Jars, Made in the U.S.A.

I liked the idea of this product—a mug that commemorated my service with rank and rate insignia—so much that I ordered two, one for me and one for my father-in-law. But upon arrival, I was immediately disappointed. The base of the handle was cracked, which could’ve been a shipping and handling issue. But worse, the quality of the custom images was very poor. The red chevrons were bleeding into the surrounding white areas to create a pinkish hue, and the “crows,” which were supposed to be solid black, were a brownish purple instead. The crows and rate insignia were also fuzzy rather than being sharp images. I would’ve rated two stars, but the second mug arrived in slightly better condition and was at least useable. I also appreciate the spirit in which I’m certain these mugs are being offered, the execution was just less than perfect and quality control is apparently lacking. My mug never should’ve been shipped in the first place because the image transfer was so poor.

Nice cup, would have liked it a bit thicker, but that's my opinion, the graphics are nice dont look like they will run off anytime soon. The cup comes with graphics on 2 sides which is awesome.I would have liked more than 12 characters when customizing the name. Some people like their rate and specific warfare qualification. I was lucky that all my data fit with no spacesThe red chevrons should be more of a fire engine red, the cup I recieved is red with a slight pink shade when looked at in the light.Over all the cup does look like a good quality product. I do recomend it as a gift, and already ordered one for my brother.

This was a gift for a Grandpa. He absolutely loved this mug! The quality is great, the customization options were excellent, and the gift went over so well the recipient was brought to tears. His military days were long ago, but he was so touched by having his name, rank, and insignia on this mug. His service meant so much to him and this is just a small reminder of that.

I like this cup as I have not found anyone else doing these type of late. My only thought is that the Naval Rate insignia is smaller than it should be which makes it disproportionate to the crow and the chevrons. I know this because I was a GSE2 in the navy and I still have my uniforms from my enlistment. The GS insignia size needs to be increased a bit to make it more proportionate to the crow and chevrons.Otherwise I like the cup.

I initially ordered this with the Machinist Mate insignia because I was buying for my coworker who was a MMW. But they had recently changed his rate back to Torpedomans Mate. I was contacted by the company who offered to do the TM rating badge instead. It came out perfectly! My buddy was excited because it’s the only thing he currently has with his rating badge on it.

Several months ago I took a chance and ordered a custom mug. When it arrived, I was delighted and just now ordered two more identical mugs (since I have a propensity for dropping them and smashing them!). These next two arrived and, just as with the initial order, they are perfect. And extra compliments on the incredible packaging: these orders arrived in perfect condition. I had already found a ball cap that was customized with his ship years ago (he loved it)Found this mug and was shocked that they not only were able to do his rank, but also his rating of IC with the accurate insignia. They are great looking mugs and I was impressed how heavy they are. My Navy buddies and I are hooking up over the labor day holiday and I'm sure they will be using them for hot and cold beverage's !!!
