Future Proof
Rounded Sata cables are a must for a performance computer. They allow for much better air flow than the traditional 'band' style cable, not to mention they are MUCH easier to work with. These SATA III cables are perfect for maximizing air flow in your computer case, and since they support 6GB transfer speeds, they are also practically future proof. Their build quality is excellent. The latch works, but seems superfluous since it's hard to imagine how a SATA cable would get unplugged while inside your case--it's not like they're put under any stress unless you REALLY don't know what you're doing. I'd much rather see this feature on a USB cable! These are great little cables and exceeded my expectations. I just with they offered a 30' version for running serpantine cables around the outside panel of my Antec P82 computer case to my Blue Ray drive. Ah well, maybe sometime in the future. These are great. Pull the trigger if you need one.*****Update December 2014*****As a few commenters have indicated, it's probably unrealistic to believe that round cables will make any discernible difference in terms of airflow compared with properly routed flat cables. I still prefer round cables as they're easier to work with. However, you can accomplish the same thing with flat cables if you take your time / use cable ties / route cables effectively. That said, the cables I bought in 2009 are still in use in my current build and I've had no issues with them whatsoever. They seem very well made as 6 years of daily use can attest to.

good cables
High quality round cables.you want round cables in a gaming machine for improved airflow and these cables delivered. they were long enough for my antec df-85 full tower case and worked awesome.my only concern is the fact that the connectors are thick. they almost didn't fit next to each other because of that fact, so I am giving them 4 stars.if your mother board has the sata connections stacked on top of each other. you might want to maybe look for a thinner cable.

Best Cables for the Price
These are some very fine cables for SATA III installs. The length meets all my needs and they are designed with latch (which really works - suprise here !). The insulation and weight appears very sturdy.Again, one of the better cables out there for any SATA installations.

Perfect.
Perfect length for Corsair Carbide 400R. I am using Narra5 AM2+ MoBo, but it will also work for the Asus Sabertooth 990FX even better as the SATA cable port on the MoBo face the direction of the cable feed. It is literally the perfect length, not too short, but you don't have a lot of extra cable hanging around. It will work on the furthest HDD/SSD slot. And for $6, it is worth it.

Will not fix stacked on the sata 6.0 Gb connector
I purchased these cables based on the reviews and the fact that I need them fast and Amazon Prime was available. Got the cable only to find out the they will not both fix in the sata III connectors on the motherboard. The connectors on my motherboard (and a lot of others) are stacked one on top of the other. Since these cables are aound the end connector on the cable has a big bludge where the wire comes into the connector. If you look closely on the picture you can see what I am talking about. This prevents two of these cables from being placed in the motherboard connectors at the same time. I could barely get one of these round cables and a flat cable in at the same time. It put, what I think is, too much pressure on the motherboard connector. If your motherboard has connectors that are not stacked then these cables may be fine. The cables do seem to be well made. One other thing. You do not need to buy sata III cables. Any good quality sata cable will work fine. I went to my local computer parts store and got two 19" sata cables for around $6.00 for both. Search the web for something like "do i need sata III cables" and you will see what I am talking about.

I purchased these to help with cable management as the round cable is easier to manipulate, 3 out of the 5 I ordered did not work. 1 of the cables would show my SSD intermittently, while the other two would not even show the SSD and Blu-ray drive in BIOS. Everything worked once I used the cables provided with my motherboard. I am returning all 5 cables and going with another company. I will never purchase anything from this brand again.

Great clip design, good length for pci x raid card
description says it all, reallymy corsair force gt ssd did not come with a sata 3 cable (kind of a bummer honestly, cuz my mobo, the evga p55 ftw 200, only had sata 2 cables)on a side note, however - these cables do NOT make any real difference from a newer style sata 2 cable as far as speeds are concerned. I have benchmarked both. THat being said, why not just get this cable for sata 3 applications anyway? theyre good quality, same price (here) and have a great clip design, and it is POSSIBLE they make a SLIGHT difference in speed.

Does the job
Worth its price and gets the job done. Length is quite adequate even for hooking up my laptop to the TV across a medium-sized living room.
