Leica Geosystems Disto GLB30 Laser Glasses LINO Red Laser Glasses

I had never used red laser glasses before and was skeptical that they would work. Well I no longer have to worry, because these do in fact do work.Even in bright sunlight, I can now see the red laser dot much better, and further than before. Now they don't correct every concern you will have when trying to find the dot in direct sunlight, but they certainly do help. At mid day, on a sunny day I could only see my laser for about 30' (maybe). Now I can see about 90' so it effectively tripled my sight. YMMV depending on the angle of the sun, the brightness, and your eyesight. However most times this fits the bill, and is a good investment.This item also comes with two replaceable lens, clear, and smoked. One for sunglasses, and one for safety glasses. I will not use either of these as I have much better options available. I wish the company would have included two more red lens, in case of scratches, or a red and green lens which would have been nice if you had a green laser.Anyway, worth the money. Just wish the other lens would have been red as well.

Serve the purpose well

Pros:Definitely makes easier to see red laser level lines both indoors and out, even in sunshine. It's dramatic difference to my eye, though my buddy didn't think so.Super lightweight.Design geometry gives excellent protective coverage.Appears to be legit safety impact protection, in addition to its laser enhancement traits.Looks cool, for what that's worth.Far more comfortable than the 'square industrial safety goggle' looking model sold by Bosch and others, but also far more expensive.Fits far better than the industrial red glasses mentioned above.Cons:It's overpriced, cuz it's just UVEX brand safety glasses, at an inflated price point because it's branded by Leica, a super-premium optics name.It's hard to figure out how to remove and replace lenses. The instructions do not show how, even if you could read them.The frame system is chic, but suspect, as it's just one single bendy piece of synthetic. No hinges, no adjustments. Experience tells me over time the bendy part of the frame will dry up and snap.Non-adjustable, though it fit my face perfectly.Cannot wear eyeglasses under these uvex ones.Has a black soft carry bag, but should have a hard case, because these feel on the fussy delicate side.There's no way to carry both the glasses, AND the two extra lenses in the same bag (clear, and smoke).The specs sheet/instructions/manual is incomprehensibly tiny.. I mean, twice as tiny as the usual tiny specs sheets that come with products these days. Seriously, I mean ridiculously absurdly tiny. And they do not explain how to remove or replace lenses. Good luck figuring that out.

I work outside measuring with a laser measuring device. And on bright days these glasses are absolutely necessary to see it. They can be worn over my glasses. I can’t do my job without them.

Had a hard time finding the laser dot with my disto, as I do land surveying and am offenly in the Forest, so I bought these to help find the laser and it works excellent

I like these as they are comfortable, fit over my glasses and do help me to see the red dot when its bright and sunny out. I think they are a little pricey for what they are though.
