Caffe' Cartapani Espresso Casa, Italian Espresso, Medium Roast Whole Bean Coffee, 2.2 Pound Bag

Just tried the Espresso Casa blend, and compared to other "classic" Italian blends, I rate this highly. The beans have a beautiful rich brown color, not dark, and the aroma is almost chocolate-like. Took me only one pull to dial these in to my taste, which is 19g in and 40g out on Strega lever machine. Resulting shot (pictured) had loads of rich crema, depth, and sweetness. Body was great. A new favorite on my list but this brand is not as widely distributed as other major Italian brands.

I own a rocket apartmento machine and a rancilio grinder so these are the equipment i used to pull shots and make lattes with.This is authentic italian coffee that comes from italia and the print on the bag is in italian. It is a mixture of robusta and arabica beans just like lavazza. I normally buy coffee beans from a local roaster because i like their roast but i want to give this a try since i saw it on instagram.I dialed in my shot and i do admit; it pulls a very nice looking shot with alot of crema. The flavor is very bitter and strong so if you like that kind of profile then give it a shot. To me the coffee gave me notes of very dark chocolate. Once its made in a latte it taste much better. more like a chocolate coffee.i also did a cold brew on it and it was pretty good. it still contained that strong chocolatey flavor.I am more used to medium to lighter profiles with a nuttier flavor. The price of the coffee for 2 lbs its a bargain and i would buy it again if i wanted something darker. I think it is slightly better than lavazza.

Not sure when this bag was torn however, when the beans were received, they were completely dried out because there was a tear in the bag. Can’t return it due to return policy. I’m stuck with the dry beans!

I was so hopeful even researched the Cartapani website, but this espresso is not great. It actually tastes bitter and burnt to me and I like strong espresso. Kimbo is my favorite and I am in the search for a contender. Maybe something is off with the bag I got, but I am not impressed. Also, disappointed that it cannot be returned even as a Prime purchase.

I absolutely love these coffee beans......for starters they have a very unique intense flavor and a very good long lasting aftertaste .....the taste has some hints of chocolate and licorice And is not acidic ....I’m a non-sugar coffee drinker and these beans are just perfect and not too bitter ...I’ve been using them for my morning espresso and I’m highlySatisfied and loving the nice crema ...I highly recommended them ...five stars all the way!! I’m super happy I found these delicious beans .....try them you will be in love.....

high quality coffee beans!!!!This coffee is the perfect fit for my morning espresso. I grind my beans every day and use my “caffettiera” to brew the perfect espresso which comes out with a really nice layer of crema. The coffee has intense flavor (i think there are hints of chocolate in it). The after taste is very pleasant and last for long time.the beans are medium roasted and not oily at all.Definitely a great find on Amazon.
