This is a great keyboard cover. It fits my dell computer perfectly. I like the way it looks, as well. It has black keys and looks seamless on my laptop. I do not like the feel of clacking keys so having a cover is a must for me. It protects my keyboard, as well, from dust and grime. It will protect it from an accidental spill.

I’ve purchased two of these, they are a flimsy rubber so if you game a lot like me, your WASD keys are going to get holes after a few months but that’s with every cover. Fortunately it’s cheap so I’m not bothered by it and it fit my laptop perfectly.

My husband is a hunt-ad-peck typist. So, the fact that letters were wearing off our laptop keyboard is a big problem for him. I first tried the sets of stick-on labels to solve this problem. This worked beautifully for about 3 weeks when the letters on the stickers also wore off. I found the keyboard cover by chance while on amazon.com; I didn't know such a thing existed. So, I scraped the sticky goo off the keyboard (left by the letter stickers), slapped this keyboard cover on, and I just love it. It stays in place while I am typing, has a nice tactile feel, and protects keyboard from damage due to spills. This is a GREAT product. Great seller, too. Highly recommend both.

My laptop is a Dell G3 3500. Pay attention to your arrow keys as that will be the best evidence of fit. It may also fit the G5, but unconfirmed.It came folded in half, like it couldn't be bothered to be packed with something ridigit that would prevent it from bending, AND the amazon warehouse guy wanted to make it work in a smaller bubble mailer. The seam is still visible and it makes my OCD twitch.I got this one cause the in on temu (likely a dropship situation) sold out and this color was prettier. For nearly $10 for a molded piece of silicon, knowing what the competition charges, it was rather price bloated. It went on fine just laying it down and giving it a slight wiggle to settle it. If you have animals the shed or a messy keyboard, clean it out first. It was to cover/protect some worn out keys that I didn't want to risk replacing and their texture was making my anxiety rise. You can still feel it through this protector, but not as badly.The main thing that I'm not fond of is that it changes the way I type. You can't push as hard, you don't hear the buttons engage as this muffles it, and you go slower overall. Like working with a flove on vs without. Some fine tune things aren't as good now. Keep that in mind.

It not fit my keyboard

So far, I've had nothing but a positive experience with this keyboard cover. It fits the layout on my Dell G5 snugly with minimal overlap on either side. Folds in the silicon have slowly been evening out. Nothing slides under the cover and it lets some of the light from my backlit keyboard through as well.The only catch -- and it's minor -- is pressing the Esc key can occasionally cause the corner to fold, but there's no issue with just pulling the cover flat again and continuing on. Positive experience overall, and if you're looking for a decent cover, this one will do the job.

Purchased wrong size. I am sure item worked for others. should have done a bit more research before purchase.

Fits well on my Dell Insipiron 15 5559. It seems a tad bit short on the front and back (like 1.5mm each), meaning it doesn't come over the edge of the keyboard like on the sides, but I don't think it will cause any harm if I spill something on it. I like the colour. The writing on the keys are perfect and it works well with the backlight on the keyboard.
