NOT MADE IN AMERICA!!!
I SPENT 30 MINUTES TRYING TO FIND A DIP BELT MADE IN AMERICA. I SETTLED ON SCHIEK AS THEY APPEARED TO BE. THEY EVEN MAKE THE AMERICAN FLAG A PROMINENT PART OF THEIR LOGO. IT IS ALL FALSE ADVERTISING, AS THIS PRODUCT IS MADE IN PAKISTAN. I RETURNED IT.AND IT COST $60!!!PAKISTANI IMPORTS AT AMERICAN PRICES.BOOOOO TO SCHIEK FOR THIS DECEPTION.

Well worth the cost
I bought this belt for pull-ups, and my priorities were comfort and quality, in that order. I've been using this belt now for a few weeks, and I have found it to be very comfortable. The belt is shaped so the weight is distributed evenly on the whole belt, and none of the rivits or stitching or edges of the belt dig into your skin. In fact, I forget I'm wearing it other than the weight it adds.The belt consists of two pieces of leather that together make the belt 1/4-inch thick. The inner piece of leather (the side that goes against your skin) is a softer type of suede and maybe 1/16-inch thick, and the outer piece of leather is a very durable looking hard type of leather. The belt is constructed with a heavy thread and ten very large rivits. I've been very satisfied with the construction quality.I only put one or two small plates at a time on the belt, but the chain appears to be long enough to hold several 45 lb plates if needed.This belt cost more than other belts I investigated, but I'm happy I bought it because the comfort and quality have exceeded my expectations.

Works Great!
I love this dip belt. One of my favorite gym accessories. I used it today with 80 lbs strapped to my waste and it worked beautifully! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality dip belt.

Review of dipping belt
This product is everything it claimed to be. Very comfortable, a good fit and the right length. The patented shape to contour the hips makes it especially comfortable. The only issue I noticed when I received the belt was that the karibeana did not close properly. It snaped after three uses with 100lbs. There was no fault with the belt itself. The karibeana must have had a defect or somehow got damaged in storage or at manufacture. There was an obvious fault line at the break point. Easily replaced for a couple of dollars. The belt is fantastic and I thoroughly recommend it if you are doing dips or chin-ups/heaves.

The belt is top quality. I bought two of them. One for me and one for a family member we use it for pull ups and dips. It works great and feels secure which is obviously important.
