This is no office shredder. Don’t think for an instant that you’re shredding multiple pages at a time.This is for that one check someone sent you. That one piece of mail that has too much personal info. One page at a time, that’s the pace of this thing.But it’s small, useful, and extremely energy efficient. It’ll get the job done, one page at a time.

This hand held paper shredder is fantastic! It really works! The only thing with this though is that you can only shred 1-2 pieces of paper at a time. You crank/turn the handle and watch it shred!

If you’re like me and don’t need to shred things often, this small, space-saving paper shredder is the perfect thing! It does take a bit longer than a bigger electric shredder (you have to fold each paper in half hot dog style and shred one at a time), but when I only need to shred something once every three months or so, I’d take that over a big clunker I have to store in my already limited space apartment. Something that makes it even easier though is I recently discovered a hack to make it go faster and save your hand from getting sore from spinning the crank. If you pull the end off, you’ll find you are able to attach a drill to it as shown in the picture. This makes the actual shredding SO much faster! You still have to take time to prep the paper, and it really only matters if you have a big stack to get through (might not be worth the time for one paper), but it definitely was a game changer for me! This is a handheld paper shredder. It works okay for the price. The shredder itself doesn’t really shred papers apart but will shred certain paper better than others. It’s easy to use.

I don’t have too much to shred so this works perfectly for me. It does feel like it might twist apart when I shred 4 layers of paper so I just do it in smaller chunks and it’s been fine.

dont waste your money!

At first I was surprised at the specs of the design, easy to use otherwise. Does only fit a certain size, so trimming it to tolerance size is a must for wider paper. I did notice the side came off where you twist it, I thought I had broken it lol. I decided to attach a battery ratchet wrench with some sockets that would fit the size. It made it easier and faster lol, I was able to put some pieces twice to trim them smaller for higher security. Doesn’t take much space, I might have to clamp it down with something to hold it down when using the battery wrench Lol. I haven’t tried trimming any credit cards yet.. hopefully it doesn’t brake open.. I’d say it’s definitely good for light use.

I moved to an apartment with no real room for a traditional electric shredder. I concluded I had minimal use for a shredder and then I saw this device, bought it, and did the hack by removing the knob for connecting my drill. This is perfect for when you get that one piece of mail that you need to shred, although probably not useful for a the tax file from 4 years ago.
