Every time I go back to my parents home in the summer, I get eaten alive by mozzies! I have Skeeter syndrome too so one little bite can cause me all sorts of bother (let alone multiple ones in one night). I was almost at the point of buying a giant, ugly pop-up mosquito net, but happened upon this citronella 'air freshener' and mozzie defence and thought I'd try it as a last attempt before the mozzie net. I was thoroughly prepared for it to be useless (like most citronella garden candles), but amazingly I went from one night being bitten 4 times to then absolutely nothing since! I just popped it on my bedside table, fully open, and it did the trick. I've actually noticed a couple of dead mosquitos in my room since too (maybe a coincidence). I can't say I can really smell it unless I stick my nose up to the pot. My room is a good size too but the one pot seems all that's necessary to stop them wanting to get near me. Honestly, for a tenner, it's worth trying this citronella pot!

I not only needed this to keep mozzies out of my rooms with all this mild rainy weather, but also wanted to stop small flies. I have indoor plants and wanted to stop the tiny black flies coming into my living room and conservatory. Also placed one in the bathroom and bedroom though no plants there. Flies still there. But seen no mosquitos, so that is good

This is the 2nd can I have bought now and they are not being supplied with the swivel close lids.

We ordered 3 of these as we were staying in a large suite in Barbados and like to sleep with the windows open and enjoy fresh air rather than air con. We were there for 2 weeks in January 2022 and had quite a bit of rain overnight and some days too, we often find the humidity brings the pesky mossies out in force. But we didn’t have one single bite and as many other guests at the hotel were riddled with itchy bites, we have to assume that this product protected us perfectly! We left them in the suite for the next guests as they were still nearly full, will definitely buy again!

Used this on safari and was the only person in my group not to be bitten. Highly recommend

Used these in a hotel for 10 days. Did not get bitten in the room. Loads left so I have them to my friend who lives in Barbados. She said she can’t believe how well they work as her apartment is normally full of mosquitoes and she hasn’t seen any! The mosquito repellent is in her bedroom! 5 stars from me all round!
