Great Product!
Bought this as a gift for my 9- year old brother and he absolutely loved it. He's the type of kid that will break any regular slinky as soon as he gets it. I bought this about 4 months ago and to this day there hasn't been any problems with the durability its great and fun to throw down the stairs because of its size. I would definitely recommend.

AWESOME SLINKY
Gave this to my niece for a gift. I wasn't expecting much. I was VERY SURPRISED at what a cool slinky this was! It went down stairs and looked, oh so neat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Unbelievably sturdy
I had initial doubts about the durability of the toy, believing it would break within a few days. However, to my surprise, it has withstood the kids' rigorous play and has yet to show any signs of damage after more than two years. If you're worried about its sturdiness, you can rest easy knowing that it's built to last.

Inaccurate Description and Photo, but it's ok
The description says the spring is metal, but I didn't even see that when I bought it. I assumed it was plastic, and it is. I only got it today, but my 3 year old boy is a terrorist, and it has held up to quite a bit of attempted destruction. I have 11" stairs, and this slinky works going downstairs, but it's a bit too large, and by the time it really gets going, it starts skipping steps (going 2 steps at a time), and kind of tumbles many times when it gets to the bottom. My kid still loves it.Also, the photo suggests a lot more different colors and length than seem to have actually come with the toy. Not a big deal... it's plenty long to go down 2 steps at a time. The ends of the coil aren't clipped to form a solid ring at each end (like a traditional metal slinky is). So there is a loose end that can easily thread through things, and I'm a little worried my 3 year old will jam it in my 1 year old's eye. But it's rounded off and not too sharp, so I'm hopeful. It's a little large for my 3 year old to use his tiny hands to do a lot of traditional 2-handed slinky motions, like just moving it back and forth. On the other hand, it's thickness seems likely to enhance it's durability, and makes it hard to really twist it into a tangle, like smaller metal slinky's do.It's cool. your kid will like it. And it's cheap. Have fun with it.

Perfect size for stairs!
When I was a kid and I had a slinky, it was one of those original ones that were not much wider than a tennis ball and they never seemed to hit the stairs quite right. They would kind of fall over and stop after three, maybe four, stairs (I’m sure any Gen X or Millennial reading this knows what I mean!).Needless to say, when I introduced my roommate’s toddler to her first slinky, I was pretty stoked to see it make it ALL the way down the staircase without even a wobble! The illusions from the graduated color scheme makes it look a lot cooler going down too.My only gripe is how easy it is to get this slinky bent and tangled. I probably spent more time trying to untangle it then she spent actually playing with it, but the stair trick was probably worth the extra effort!

Great toy
This was a big hit with my 7 year old and 5 year old. It’s held up well too. Lots of use and still works great.
