Hydrating, I think it works great

I have had both thus one and the name brand one iykwim. They're honestly very comparable. When I wake up after putting a decent amount on its still there! Leaves my lips looking and feeling hydrated!

I’m very picky with my lip gloss. This is technically a lip sleeping mask but I use it every day as my lip gloss. It’s not sticky or waxy. It goes on super smooth and makes my lips feel like a dream! It has a very subtle vanilla scent, but not enough to taste it. And the shine is my favorite part! I have replaced all my other lip glosses with this because it’s so shiny and looks really pretty with a little bit of lip pencil underneath if I’m going out.

This is not a great dupe for laneige which is why I bought it. It’s stickier and not as smooth.

I don’t know why but I hate the grimy feeling in most lip treatment products where there’s still some left behind even after washing with soap and water, but this one looks like it doesn’t have that issue. It’s very moisturizing and nourishing, and I always wake up to soft and plump lips after applying this at night. Plus the packaging is very nice, it comes in a glass jar with a nice heavy lid. One of a very few times I’m ever this committed to a lip treatment product to hit pan (only ever happened to 3 other lipcare products).

I love this product! It smells like vanilla and will deeply moisturize your lips with only using a little bit of product. I definitely suggest it to sleep with over night or even wear it on a daily basis as it leaves a slight gloss to your lips and leaving you feel hydrated.
