Surprisingly good quality at a good price
I spent much time choosing whether I wanted to buy this kit from Swpeet, a company I'd never heard of before and whose name I can't pronounce, or buy the parts individually for twice as much from vendors I knew have been around a while. I like professional quality in hand tools but I know that my occasional use of such tools doesn't always warrant their higher cost. In the end my aching wallet won out and I chose the cheaper option. The kit arrived today and I was quite pleasantly surprised. The tools show the same quality I would expect from the name-brand vendors. The crimper is well-made, tight, smooth and accurate, the jaws of which are well cast and finished and they are removable which means you can probably use them interchangeably with those from other companies that sell the same design crimper. The wire cutters are slightly less perfect in fit and finish but the cutter edges are sharp and have no nicks or spaces, and the coax stripper appears to be the same item available separately, that is, it is not a cheapened copy. I noticed the blades of the stripper may need a bit of adjustment but it came with the built-in Allen wrench and adjustment screws just like the name-brand item does. There's also an interesting combination philips/slotted screw driver that has a notched shaft that can also be removed and fitted perpendicularly to the handle for added leverage. Finally, this kit comes with a well made case and five each of BNC plug and PL-259 connectors. I won't know the quality of the connectors until I've used them for a while but they appear to be excellent. When you combine this kit with Amazon's Prime Shipping you get a very good deal that you would find hard to beat elsewhere. Time will tell, of course, whether the kit works and lasts as good as it looks but so far it looks quite promising.

WILL NOT CRIMP RG/8X
Nice combo for crimping coax cables. The screwdriver seems to be a little something of a kit filler with no discernable application regarding terminating cables. The carrying case is great and will hold another crimper (more on that). There are NO instructions, the lack which has been chronicled in many of the feedback entries. There are YouTube vids on the subject, some of which are rather confusing. My main concern is the description states it will crimp RG/8X coax. As a 60-year amateur radio operator, I purchased this kit specifically for that purpose. However, the crimper will only crimp down to 0.255" and RG/8X requires a 0.244" crimp - not sufficiently tight. As I now don't believe the specs on the other sets as well, I purchased the proper crimper from DX Engineering, which also allows interchangeable dies. Adding the proper stripper (cuts sheath and foil/braid!) and new connectors came to ~$100. Such is this ham's plight I guess.

OK for the price
It isn't a bad set and for the price it's ok. I found crimper was ok and did a decent job. The connectors were part crimp and part solder which I thought was odd. They worked ok. The stripper was very difficult to adjust properly and then didn't do well without damage to the either the inter or outer jacket of RG58 cable. It may be me but have used others that worked as normal.

Ham radio coax
Did not fit RG-8 or RG8X but it was a nice set 4 the $ I returned it …
