I've used this cover for a week and it works as I intended. I needed minor scuff and dink protection since I already have a padded back-back. I did not need another sleeve. This cover is a wrap that allows quick access while providing that protection. The cover attaches to the screen while the base is free hanging with a flap-clasp that wraps around the front and secures magnetically. When wrapped for transport, it feels like it's double in thickness and a little heavier.I've gotten use to popping the flap-clasp and letting the base swing away. Then the built in "lifter" in the base must be folded back to raise the bottom of the laptop before resting it on the cover. That lifter provides crucial air flow to the vent under the laptop base. I use the flap-clasp both tucked under the laptop and flat out. When it's tucked under, it takes up 2 inches of space in front of the laptop and raises the bottom further for good air flow. That's my home office setup. At my remote office, I leave it flat out and it's a perfect fit-fit and anti-slip surface for a small Logitech K810 keyboard.Construction is good. Stitching is even. There is no PU smell. The exterior PU and interior fabric feel nice. Note, PU is not leather and it does not wear well. The screen slots into the case by its side and top and held by two elastic straps at the bottom. The screen's bezel is exactly covered, top and sides. However, since the bezel cover is non-rigid PU, the lower left and rights sides, and the middle top around the camera, collapses slightly into the screen (see photo of screen). I've remedied this by rolling a single sheet of stick-it note, sticky-side out, cut into 3 pieces, and stuffed into those areas to push the bezel slots away.For those who appreciate minimal waste, the case arrived in a crinkly plastic bag in a padded mailer. Not a sheet of instructions, warranty, a manufacturer's note, or a quality control slip. That most difficult step of assembling my laptop into the case was getting the two very tight elastic straps around the screen. See my photos. I wrapped two strings (ribbon, etc) around those straps as grips. Slid the screen into place. Pulled the "grips" outwards and over the screen!

Cool artsy print, but wobbly when opened. The top side that attaches to the screen blocks the camera opening when in use. The bottom does not attach security to the keyboard, and when opened the keyboard wobbles up and down making it difficult to type. On the up side, the case is well padded and super soft and suede-ish on the inside where it contacts the laptop. I plan to use this when traveling to protect my laptop, but not when I'm using the laptop.

Laptop slips in nicely. no adhesives just two elastic straps that secures tightly. Stylish and functional. recommend

The specs are not accurate

This case may protective the outside of the laptop from fingerprints and scratches but it will provide absolutely no protection if it were dropped. It does not fit perfectly, even though each one is specifically tailored to every laptop model. The material quality feels and looks nice but functionally this case is useless.

This product seems to be a great fit for Lenovo x1 carbon 7th Gen, the cover comes with a solid leather finish outside and a smooth soft cloth material inside with a magnetic flip which locks the cover properly. It's comfortable to put your laptop into it carry as a file. Appreciated quality

Can not close the laptop with the cover on. There is no gap between screen and keyboard when closed and it will break the screen. You can not insert the laptop screen into the flops. This will be a problem with all covers. They would have to be a paper thin and maybe then it could work.

I absolutely love this case. Looks very classy
