I love how these look. Simple and modern. The glass bottom is very solidly made and shows what is in it very well. The top is thinner but attractive and easy to grab to remove or push back on. My worry is the plastic ring inside the top to make it fit and be air tight. It is thin and brittle and I often send it sailing across the room when I open a canister because it is not connected in any way. It isn’t rubber or anything textured that might keep it from slipping. This will be the part that fails and makes the jar unusable. Without the ring, the top will be too big for the bottom. In two months, it hasn’t happened, yet, but I just know it is coming and I will be hugely upset when there is no way to replace the ring.
