tuf-kote® 6146 Air Conditioner Cleaner and Disinfectant Foam Spray with Lemon Fragrance 500ML

Got it for my car which was missing air filter. The dust started to seep through the A/C vents and I had to take action.Application : It comes with a plastic tube (same as the ones supplied with lube spray cans) and it needs to be plugged into the canister head. Once the product is discharged, it will form a thick white foam which will expand to the size of the vent. The foam needs to be discharged into the A/C vents as deep as possible to get good results. The foam will subside slowly and will drip out of A/C drain hole.Caution :1. Hold the tube firmly with your hand. The pressure from the can will easily dislodge the tube and if it falls into your A/C vent, prepare for a trip to local garage.2. It is a long process. Will take atleast an hour for the foam to drip out. It is best if you can do it at ambient temperature, under shade and in dust free environment.3. Allow the product to work. Do not try flushing it out fast or turning on your blower. It will blow out on your seats and upholstery and the dirt that it carries will leave ugly mark behind.4. Allow sufficient time before you turn on your A/C. The moisture will cause more condensation and it will spoil the experience. Allow atleast an hour before turning on the A/C5. DO NOT TURN ON THE FAN IN HOT MODE. You will end up with patches of dried out product and will have to be scrubbed off using a bottle cleaner brush.Overall a great product for mild cleaning. People with mildew, fungus and pet hair in A/C vents, please excuse. Go for a more stringent cleaning products such as Ozone and Chemical vapor treatment. If you are one of those who has proper air filter installed, you can do this every 6 month once. If you are running your A/C without filter then should be done every 3 months. For a decent sedan one can per year is estimated.

I received a damaged product, not sure whether it's a original product or not. Will update the review once I use it.I used the product and hence changing the review, it's quite good product but be warned that it might cause serious problems to your central audio unit if not Addressed properly. Mine system's light was flickering after I used it. But was smart enough to turn of the AC and start the heater with full blower. This caused the wet circuit panels to dry up faster and the central unit was sturdy again.All the best

The product kind off works as described, but I expected to be able to use the 500ml can at least 2 times but it's almost finished with just one spray into my wagon R. So I bought it a second time expecting at least one spray into the ducts of the wagon R, but this time the can was empty before half of the interior of the duct (only driver side ducts) could be filled with foam. Very disappointed at the quantity provided. Also should mention the quality of the can, nozzel and pipe are very low standard.

I used this product to clean my Window AC and my car AC. The quantity was sufficient to clean both but this foam was not powerful enough to dissolve the grime settled on the coil of window AC. I had to remove the dirt manually using a brush and then this foam was able to pull the little bit of leftover dirt from the coil. What I conclude that it's better to pay 300 rs to AC service guy and let him clean it rather than wasting money on this product and your precious time and effort.Coming to the car, I sprayed it in the blower as shown in the video and the foam was all stuck inside even at highest blower speed. Some of the foam did come out but it didn't clean much as the foam that came out was still white and no sign of dirt on it. So here also this product failed. Only good thing is that after using this foam you get nice fragnance from AC.
