My wife is older and had issues getting in and out of the water on our 41 ft Hatteras swim platform.This one is heavy duty, beautiful and easy to assemble and install.She can get in and out easily now. The ladder is longer than normal boat ladders, but it collapses into a short ladder to store out of the water.Perfect. No complaints from us.

This ladder comes nearly fully assembled, just two bolts to fasten. I used stainless steel through-bolts without backing plates, but pretty large stainless washers instead. It's now been 7 months of heavy use in salt water. Must be high quality stainless, since there's very little corrosion, and everything is as solid as day 1.Sorry that I didn't clean up before the photo, but you can see where the original ladder was mounted. It was a two step flip down ladder with teak steps. Looked great but was unusable for climbing out of the water because it didn't extend down far enough, and there was nothing to grab onto as well. Also it was a tripping hazard in the way that it laid down on the swim platform.

This ladder is sturdy and extends pretty low into the water. The only issue I had was the locknuts that came with it apparently rattled off despite me cranking them on there with 2 wrenches.

The ladder that came on my pontoon boat did not fold completely out of the water. This ladder is easy to use and when folded up and collapsed, it is very well made, and my wife loves it.

Bought this ladder to help older and larger folks getting off and on our pleasure boat when out on the lake and river. Love the width and the length. It’s sturdy and makes climbing easy even for a 70 year.

This product is a well thought out design that is sturdy enough to handle an adult yet folds up neatly onto the dock. This is the second one we bought, and I would buy a third if I had a third floating home.

Not hard to figure out how to install this, but absolutely no instructions or information in the package. Seems sturdy enough after mounting to the deck , but I’m worried about the ladder portion. When extended, there is a lot of play and my concern is any weight over 150 pounds will bend the telescoping parts of the ladder. Haven’t had it in the water yet, so just concerned for now. We will see.

I can not say anything bad about this boat ladder. We swim off our pontoon boat, and need the ladder to get back on the boat. Works incredible. Steps are a decent width. Handles make it easy to pull yourself onto the boat. Best part, very easy to install.
