The setup was easy. I did it in just a few minutes. This stereo, even with only 2 of its speakers, is louder than their RD8 model. I'm pleased with the look, volume, and quality of this stereo and I am very glad that I bought it. The blutooth antenna connect to my phone and does not drop the connection even though I have it in the saddle bag.Vtx1800 V&H big shots with stock baffles, slipstreamer windshield. I can hear my music cruising in highway traffic doing 80mph. If you have shorty pipes and no windshield, then you will have a different experience and will probably have difficulty hearing ANY stereo on your bike. This is common sense.I got about 10 months out of the speakers and about 14 months out of the amp.

Works great, sounds good too!
Looks good and gets loud... I can hear them going about 55mph after that there's just too much wind and engine noise. I mounted a fork bag in the front and put the amp/controller thing in there... Keeps it dry and out of the way.. mounted two in front and two in rear on my turn signals.. works out pretty well that way and it's kinda like having surround sound.**INSTALL A KILLSWITCH FOR WHEN BIKE IS OFF OR IT WILL SLOWLY DRAIN YOUR BATTERY.

Excellent speakers and Bluetooth for this price!
Overall, this is a great product. There are 2 reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars:1) Everytime you increase or decrease the volume there is a piercing beep from the speakers. This is seriously annoying.2) The mounting brackets for the 4 speakers are not articulated. This means that you cannot "aim" the speakers in a 2nd dimension. They will always be 90 degrees perpendicular to the handle bars, crash bars, etc.Other than those 2 things, the speakers look and sound great. The FM radio works great, as does the bluetooth. I have had 1 time since I installed it (2 days ago) where the bluetooth connection kept dropping. I'm not sure if this is because of the devices bluetooth or a problem on my phone. It did correct iteself after 5 minutes and remained working properly for the rest of the day.Update Nov16 2018. No further bluetooth issues. Still working great. I just set the speakers at max volume and then control the music volume with my phone.Update June 5 2019. 2 of the mounting brackets have broken due to the vibration of my crashbars. The other 2 that I mounted on my handlebars are still in place. The 2 that broke their mounts both failed within 3 weeks of each other so I suspect it was not a manufacturing flaw, but the type of metal used in the brackets themselves.

Stay clear of these speakers.
The manufacture claims that the speakers are waterproof when in fact they are not; but when you call them to make the claim, the representatives will continue to correct you by telling you they (speakers) are water resistant. Huge difference, but look at the advertisement it reads "speakers are waterproof" not the amplifier. When in reality I guess nothing is waterproof. Everything in this unit must be covered. Including the hardware as that tends to rust also. This system will sound good at first then surely and slowly will start to fade away due to dust and of course rain. I've even when to the extreme of pointing the speakers down but the little "go hawk" logo in the back lets water into the speaker; thus making the speaker(s) useless. Well as far as my experience went terribly wrong as one of the mounting hardware got too rusted and broke off during my commute to work and kept banging my motorcycle all over the place (and self inflicting damage to itself) that when i've sent the speaker in for repair/exchange, customer service had the nerves to tell me that they were going to exchange the unit ONCE and only as a courtesy due to the severe damage presented to them on the speakers. Tried to reason with them and explain them my experience and didn't wanted to hear it; just sent me the new set and didn't even bother to replace the hardware (which I'd sent it attached to the speakers) so they can see for themselves the condition of the hardware also. Which looks "chrome like" but it is absolutely not. In other words it is of your best interest to look somewhere else for better and lasting results.

Crappy fm tuner
Looks good, and is nice and loud, unless you are using bluetooth. When you connect to bluetooth the volume syncs to you phone and you cant hear it over about 40mph. The fm tuner skips around and never actually lands on any of the local stations. The main reason I bought this one was because of the fm tuner. I am extremely disappointed in it. Absolutely will not buy this brand ever again.

No booms but good sound
It's not quite as loud as a real built in system but can hear it at 90mph without helmet. Loud and clear at any city street speeds. Speaker wires are way too short you will likely need to extend them
