I also experienced the same issue with it breaking after one use! I thought it might have been my us to UK plug adaptor as it worked with my friends and so I've just bought a new adaptor and it still doesn't work. Checked the reviews and everyone seems to be saying it breaks after one use. It's been a while since I actually bought the product so I doubt I'll get any money back. Avoid!

Purchased in July, unfortunately didn’t open until yesterday. Lasted all of 5 minutes before it ceased to work. Absolute rubbish!

It was ok - I bought one about 6 months ago and it stopped working after a couple of months, but apart from that it seemed fine so I bought another one less than 2 months ago. After using about twice a week, the motor exploded tonight which was pretty stressful and now the room I was in smells like burnt plastic. Do Not Buy!

So sad to be writing this but this was an utter disappointment. We used it once and steam eventually came out which was ok however it smelled very much of plastic probably because it’s new.When we wanted to refill the water compartment whilst taking out the part it broke!!We truly expected more quality for this price and cannot recommend this Steamer whatsoever.Very sadly we are most likely not to get a refund given this happened before Christmas and we simply had no time to sort this out earlier.However another part which we where disappointed about is that the plug is for American! sockets and not U.K. sockets!!!I would avoid unless you don’t like money!

Do not buy! Bought in July and only tried now as it did not come with a uk plug so I had to wait for a separate plug to arrive. Stopped working after 1 Sec!!!
