MAGMA C10-603T Baja, Traveler Series Gas Grill, One Size, Stainless Steel

I had purchased a coleman road trip grill. (Like $200, one with the fold up legs, slide out side cutting boards) We were getting ready to leave on our florida keys to Baja, Mexico road trip all the way to 30 miles shy of Cabo. Got the coleman to make sure it would work out for us and I was horribly disappointed. Cheap, rivets falling out and or missing, awkward to move, use, or open and close, and cooks things way to fast with the lid down with uncontrollable over heating. Ordered this grill to see if this would work. We just got back from this trip of almost 10,000 miles all through the US and from Tecate to the Baja peninsula end and back to the keys. This grill rocks! low temp cooking is no problem! Grilling a 2" thick rib eye steak perfectly is no problem. Sears nicely, accurately controls heat with its high quality ss burners and flame gaurd; not too mention the whole thing is ss. This is a beautiful grill that is compact, built with love and quality, and that has ignitors that actually work every time flawlessly. Well done and thank you Magma!!!!

Very rugged and well built. Little hard to start with electric ignition but not impossible. We have owned several different models from Magma and have to say this unit is the biggest bang for the buck. For inland RV camping, this unit is really holding up to the elements.

This grill is awesome but the polished stainless doesn’t hold up taking it out on the boat I’m salt waterI have only taken it to the beach 1 time and it’s already rusting everywhere which sucks because that’s the whole reason i go it hoping it wouldn’t rust fast and if it did I could just remove the rust once a year or somethingI wish someone made this same grill with the best quality stainless on the market if they did they could name there price easilyI have not even grilled on it year just took it on the boat 1 timeTemp gauge isn’t water proof either moisture gets in that first time you clean itIf they used better quality stainless and a waterproof gauge I would have no complaintsIt’s still a great back yard and camp grill it’s just gonna rust very fast if used on the boat over salt water like the first weekAnd I bought the pole holder mount for it, but for some reason, the four holes on the grill don’t lineup perfectly even though they’re both same branSo I had to use two of the factory holes and drill two holes to bolt the rod holder

I had a Magma BBQ for the last 5 years, that thing could take a beating, it was heavy, and shiny after 5 years, only complaint was the mechanical igniter stopped working but I really don’t care to much about it. Sadly this BBQ fell into the water and I have to replace it. I choose the exact same model that I had before, but this new Magma BBQ is a disappointment, it is much lighter, stainless stains and does not come off, the igniter is battery operated. I trusted this brand so much that immediately dispose of the box, if not I will be returning this low quality BBQ. Absolutely awesome grill. This grill comes with me on dive trips and works great on a table top. It does have two different heat zones at any temperature setting, but this works great for cooking two different types of food at once. Definitely a good buy!

I have known the brand (Magma) for over 20 years (from my sailing days) and this is my first purchase. I like that is solidly built and constructed of all stainless components. The grill is lightweight and easy to pack in a Magma case (separate purchase) for storage and transport. The gage/type of SS is not a heavy as the grills made for boating use and thus can dent a little easier than expected. This is also why they are less expensive than their nautical equivalents. Overall it works great with even heat, stands up in a breeze, and does not blow out like older models, and I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this for my boat and I like the fact that it has permanent folding legs so I can use if I go camping!

Like everything about this grill, except that it doesn't get very hot while on the lake. I think the way it's designed allow for wind to keep it from getting really hot. Of course, there's always wind on a lake. It still functions fine, just not quick grilling.
