Works great on old rv sealant
Bought an older rv where someone went a tad crazy with sealant. Sealant got old and hard to remove. I used this and spread it on with a cheap bristle paint brush and let it sit for 10-15mins. Everything came off with ease using a plastic razor blade and wet rag. Pretty awesome

Worked surprisingly well on 10+ year old Vulkem caulk (suprising result)
Worked surprisingly well on 10+ year old Vulkem caulk, which I definitely did not expect. It is designed for acrylic caulk, but it softened up what was in place and made it a lot easier to remove. Was enough in the tube to cover two strips 24" long. It is thick and spreadable. I created dams using masking tape and then covered the caulk remover with plastic and let it sit in place for 36 hours to allow it to do it's job.I was quite impressed with it as I have tried other kinds of removers in the past and did not expect much.

Warning!
It works great but my shower is made of plastic so it ruined the surface. However, it was my fault. I think!

It works... a little too well, unfortunately.
As a new homeowner, I have a lot to learn. I tried this product because I was finding it super difficult to remove old and cracking caulking around our bedroom windows. I was using a knife, a razor, a caulk-removing tool... basically any sharp object I thought might get in there and do the job.I was hesitant to try this because who wants to introduce chemicals and a possible mess to an already tenuous situation? Still, I was becoming desperate.First, I was impressed that it did not have an overpowering smell and that it came out of the tube pretty easily. That was a relief. So did it soften the caulking and make it easier to remove? Yes. But unfortunately, trying to get the remover (with its runny snot-like consistency) to stay where you applied it is another matter. For the bottom ledge of the window, the product worked fine, but trying to get it to stay put on the sides and top of the window for the recommended two hours while it softened... nope. In some places, it stayed, but in others it ran or plopped down entirely. This caused problems. As you can see from the photos, the product slid down the wall, where it began to remove the oil paint (creating a gross, sticky mess). Not only did it take the paint, it started in on the drywall too. On the top of the window, the remover dropped down onto my actual window case. Would you believe it damaged that hard white plastic too? It raised the plastic in bumps. What is this stuff? The company should definitely consider their claim on the front: “Won’t harm most surfaces.”Now, I’ve got a bigger problem and mess on my hands. I wish I’d have tried other softeners first. A heat gun? Vinegar? I don’t know. Maybe you should use this as a last resort.

Works as it should, and makes the chore MUCH easier and well worth the money.
As long as you don't expect miracles, this product works as it should. It softens the caulk and makes it a LOT easier to remove, and the gel allows the product to cling for several hours to do its work. I found that 3 or 4 hours was ideal dwell time.

Great product but beware of package leaked
This product was a great help just apply it to and wait for about two hours, I could remove the old caulk easily. However, I can't give it a five- star. The package came in a bubble bag. When I took it out, some green materials stuck onto my hands. They were quite sticky. I immediately washed my hands for serval minutes but there were still minor burns. It was later found that the bottom of the tube leaked out. Since I needed to recaulk my sink immediately, I did not return the caulk remover. It would be better if Amazon could send it out in a box. It is safer to wear gloves before opening the package.
