Q: does this work with Fellowes thermal binding machine Helios 60?

Yes. However there a coupe of things you need to know to use your machine properly. This applies to all brands of covers. The more stuff you put into the Helios , the more time it tries to give you . That is a design flaw. Use the < arrow to reduce the time to around 60 seconds. If you were putting in 3 or 4 covers at a time, it would result in overheating glue so too much would wick into the pages. Also, in an effort to speed up the cycle times the Helios machines run very hot. Too much heat can cause some waviness in the plastic front covers. If this happens, simply put a piece of cardboard in front of the plastic before binding to deflect the heat. This trick is useful for all brands of cover and for machines that run quite hot, like Helios, Pro-Bind 2000, and Bindomatic.

Q: Does the clear sheet come with the linen back or do you have to purchase those separately?

The clear (slightly frosted but still "see-through") sheet is part of the cover. Glue is already inside.

Q: How many pages is this go?

The 5/16" capacity refers to the width of the strip of glue inside the cover. So,it can hold up to 5/16" worth of sheets. For standard 20lb copy paper a safe bet would be 75 sheets maximum. There is no direct correlation between paper weight and thickness. Some papers are thin, but dense. Others are thick and fluffy. The best way is to measure the thickness of the combined pile of sheets, without pinching. If it's less the 5/16" your're OK. if not, move up to the 10mm.
