3 months of constant use and abuse and still in one piece
I think most parents get annoyed that goalkeeper gloves for kids don’t last at all. I personally was skeptical of dropping money for something I could get at Walmart for cheap. However, I have no regrets in my experience with these gloves the value for your money is there.I bought them over 3 months ago for my 9yo and he uses them at least 4 times a week between practices and his games. When compared to other gloves, these renegades ones are truly made with quality in mind.Feature Highlights- The padding in and out of the glove is well made and sewn in correctly.- The finger-save feature is great for kids. The pieces can be cut so that they fit better within the glove. They have a separate pocket for each finger and are easy to remove and replace.- The material on gloves palm is still in one piece. No major signs of wear, except for the logo.- it offers Proper support for the wrist as well. The folks from renegade have an awesome site for goalkeeping tips and proper care of the gloves. I have taken that advice and I appreciate the effort on this.As my kid gets older and his hand gets bigger, I will definitely buy a pair from renegade again.

Great Gloves, Great Company
My Daughter just started playing goal for her u10 travel team and was in desperate need for some gloves. She was using another players goalie gloves for the past couple games but I wanted her to have her own. These gloves look and feel great, seem well constructed and seem like they will give my 9yr old daughter very good hand protection.First let me say something about this companyMy daughter really wanted the neon blue gloves and when we received the package although the sticker on the package said neon blue the gloves were neon green. The gloves fit her fine (size 5) so to me it wasn't really a big deal but wanted Renegade to know what happened just for the future so they were aware of it. So i called the number that came with the gloves and talked to Tyler. He was great he understood what the issue and was gonna send out the blue ones to me. The issue was we had a tournament this past weekend where my daughter needed the gloves in 2 days so I know they would not arrive on time. Tyler said to use the gloves we have and he would ship the blue ones to us, which was very kind of him. I told him we were fine with the green ones and no need for the replacement and I just wanted to let him know what happened. Well Tyler then refunded me some money back from my order to remedy the issue which I told him that was not necessary but he still did. He seems to truly wanted to help as much as possible and for that he has earned my business for as long as my daughter stays between the pipes. As for the gloves my daughter used them in her tournament and she played awesome with them. She loved how they felt on her hands and the confidence knowing that her fingers were well protected. When I asked her after the tournament how she liked them, she responded with a huge grin and talked about about how much she loved them. She liked everything from the feel of them the look of them and even the little tab to help pull the gloves on.

Good quality.
They are the best gloves, this is the second pair I bought for my son and he loves them, they are durable and have protection on the fingers which makes him feel comfortable and safe.

Solid Indoor Glove
My review is based on 3 months of weekly play:I play rec indoor goalie and i tend to throw myself around quick a bit on the turf so i go through gloves every 3-6 months. When it was time to re-up my glove order my previous glove was no longer available. I found these when i was looking for a glove that was more geared towards artificial turf vs some of the typical outdoor goalie gloves. There wasnt a whole bunch of reviews for the Renegade gloves at the time of my purchase but they seemed to have checked off all the requirements for a tougher stickier glove, so i made the purchase. When i first received the gloves they were super stiff and quite difficult to get on and next to impossible with one of the gloves already on. I did find that it had a nice wrist loop that allowed for more power to pull the glove on. The gloves are a little on the bigger size (size 9 for me) but still had a sold feel and construction. the palm and fingers had a textured look and feel which is supposed to lend to its ability to hold up on turf. They had a feeling of grip to them that was similar to other outdoor gloves ive used in the past. Overall i was happy with the quality - Five of Five starsDuring the first few games the gloves were stiff but that is to be expected for a brand new glove that needs to be worn in and loosened up. When deflecting shots i found that since they were a little over-sized, my control at the further end of my reach was lessened. The finger saves do the job and you dont feel them resisting when trying to grip the ball for a throw. I had a few wild throws when i first got them but that was just due to the stiffness. The grip out of the bag is solid, predictable and impressive which was even more impressive after i decided to read the instructions! They state that you should wet the gloves within about 30 minutes of the game start time to really take advantage of the grip. I was surprised by how effective something as simple as watering the gloves would produce. I am finding that shots im catching with both hands stop the ball in air with zero slip. The grip is so good i find the momentum of the ball is pushing me back while the gloves are locked on. Four of Five StarsI am finding that the palm of the gloves are starting to flake a little due to me using my palms to get up off the turf which is a little disappointing. To give credit to Renegade they do suggest that, when you can, get up off the ground with your knuckles but i was hoping these would last a little longer with 1 day a week play over a 3 month period to not flake. Four of Five Starsoverall this is a solid glove and recommend to any goalie that primarily plays indoor on turf.
