Perfect weight and perfect size. I didn't find it heavy at all. Will definitely be the last rolling pin I need to buy. Rolled out some spelt flour dough to fill pesto and it did a great job.

This was a gift but they had liked mine so much (which I've used for 25 years) I found this one. It is heavy, but not so much as it hurts to use it, it rolls beautifully due to the bearings and it arrived quickly and nicely boxed.

I had no idea they made rolling pins this nice. I originally wanted a marble pin, but after researching that, it seemed to be the wrong choice for our needs. When I found this elsewhere online and saw how many professional bakers and chefs use it, I decided to come here and give it a shot. I am so, so glad I did. This thing is HEAVY, rock solid, and rolls like a dream. It is indeed the Cadillac of rolling pins. Don't hesitate. I'll be getting the smaller version as well. Ateco has made an exceptional product!

Best rolling pin ever. This is a perfect size - not too big and not too small. Makes pie making quick and easy.

Fantastic. It's a bit longer than I expected it to be (I really should have measured before I ordered.), but I wanted the larger diameter pin. It's heavy and rolls like a dream. Beautiful rolling pin. Well worth every penny.

This is the perfect rolling pin. Heavy, free-rolling. Barrel is not varnished but handles are. Made of maple. Made in USA. I have been looking for you all my life!

Loved the size and rolling function , but the handles were to skinny for the weight and size of pin. I'm a professional baker and didn't like the handles, I sent it back.

Straight out of the 1940's ! Fantastic !!
