Michelangelo: His Life & Works In 500 Images: The Potential for International Cooperation

This book is an absolute gem, I am still amazed at the price they're selling this for!! Good hardcover with a dustjacket, the pages are glossy and thick enough that they won't rip easily. The illustrations are not just by Michelangelo, but also by a few people who influenced him and had an effect on his life and art. Great introduction to the master and his life. The images of his own Paintings are beautifully presented, often with explanations. I bought it along with books from the same author on DaVinci and Rembrandt, and I love my bookshelf 20 times more now!!

The media could not be loaded. The book itself is very good but in my book, there is no red line under the blue box which in the Amazon picture says "his life and works in 500 images " even my sir's book has that but I don't think it is of any concern as maybe mine is the newer version the back print says it costs $30 (us) which is Rs.2,326/-, I got it for around 900 as it was on sale I must say it was a steal.If you are an artist or interested in art history, go for it

The images and details are awesome.The European art always had a great impact on me and this book just brought me more closer to the beauty of Rome and Florence.Got this book at 650 rupees only which is cheap enough considering the quality of pages.
