Ideal fo a jangly guitar sound
I've tried loads of different plectrums / picks, but have settled on these as I love the bright jangly sound that they produce. I use them on both lead and bass guitars. Each pick lasts me a few months before eventually splitting at the tip. A bag of 12 will last me years. The image shown makes the picks look very transparent, so I was worried these might be fake, but when they arrived they were darker blue and not fake.

Great if you're trying to fine tune your tone
I like these picks, although I find the tips wear down quite quickly. I hold my picks so the edge of the pick is hitting the string, so the gauge doesn't really matter and I prefer lighter picks. The gels have a certain attack which I like. They impart a different tone when compared to nylon - not as warm as nylon and a little bit brighter than Tortex. If you want to experiment, and try something new, then I would recommend any of the Gels picks.

Good Little Pluckers.
I can't play the guitar and these haven't imbued me with magical skills to suddenly turn into Slash overnight, which has made me a little sad. These are pretty solid little pluckers and I'm happy with them though other more seasoned players are probably more qualified to comment on these.

Excellent
How many picks is enough? (It's a trick question). I like Jim Dunlop picks. These are as good as ever.

As melhores!

I keep coming back to these
I'm one of those players that has to try different guitar picks, and my collection is about 500 various picks that I have collected over the years..of all the brands and types,Fender celluloidPlanet WavesD'Andreacustom imprint picks from online merchantsPickboyand of course Dunlop...everything from jazz 3, Tortex, Delrin 500 to some of the signature models (Petrucci, Hetfield, Andy James, etc...)You know what? I KEEP coming back to the Red Gels (Heavy) picks. To me they are the most secure and comfortable to hold. Some have mentioned that they feel rough around the edges, but after a few days of playing, they round out enough to provide a smooth release...they are just slightly smaller than the typical 351 shape (eg Fender), and to me that makes them a little more comfortable, and from my perspective, they slide off the strings a little smoother than standard celluloid picks.I'd say they flex more (ever so slightly) than a Fender Heavy...but you will only notice this in a side by side comparison, and in my opinion upi need some flex to do certain techniques...For example, I find it much harder to palm mute with a Jazz 3 than with a Std. Heavy pick...but that might just be me.in any case, I tend to use the Gels then another pick suddenly feels better, for a brief time, and then guess what, I end up going back to the Gels.
