These lip stains are no joke!These lip stains will most certainly stain your lips and be long-lasting. To sample a color, I put a dot of pink on the back of my hand and it ended up staying there through the next day - even after showering and washing my hands several times! In addition, I applied one to my lip that same evening and woke up the next morning with my lips still stained somewhat, and this was after attempting to wipe it off the night before (though it was late and I was tired so I may not have done a great job).These also smell and taste like a grape wine, which was unique compared to other stains and lipsticks and glosses I have used before (and actually enjoyed more than I thought!). The smell and taste will not affect the taste of drinks or your sense of smell at all either, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone else would be able to taste the wine flavor if they put their lips to yours.The colors of these stains does not exactly match those of their respective bottles, but resembles exactly as they were shown in the listing. This gives unique and wonderful colors to choose from.I also love the novelty of these stains, and gave two of them to a friend. They are a unique gift for wine lovers and/or makeup lovers, as they have creative cases and unique colors and smells to them.Overall, these lip stains are amazing. With the cuteness of a wonderful novelty gift, they also have great functionality and style to them that can match almost anyone's style. I recommend these to anyone that likes makeup and/or wine, as these can make for either great gifts or for great makeup accessories as needed.

These are adorable! The product is very pigmented and the color lasted through dinner and beyond with no touch ups. I can't stand the feeling of food on my lips and wipe my mouth repeatedly when eating. I applied it at 5pm before eating and it looked *perfect* when I took my makeup off at 10pm. I paired it with a complementary colored lip gloss (Nyx Fat lip oil) for the look of a lipstick but with staying power. I didn't think it was sticky once it was dried. I can't speak to whether or not it dried out my lips because I wore it with a gloss. I did have a strong stain of color on my lips when I woke up the next morning and I used a makeup cleansing balm before going to sleep. I like that it isn't scented or flavored but it has a mild, slightly medicinal taste. The taste was gone once it was dry and it wasn't nasty. Also, everyone I showed it to cackled at the novelty.

Cute and made a good gift but a lot of the colors were either darker or more bright than expected.

They are hardly lip stains. The colors are super bold so unless you’re going for a really colorful lil it must be diluted and stains your fingers. that being said, it does a poor job of staining your lips and has waxy finish. Comes off after kissing, drinking, eating anything, applying lip balm, really anything. not impressed and the formula burns lips a bit too as it’s not very gentle. Not to mention bottles would break & the tops would come off. this might work for you & the looks you are planning to do with them but they did not for me.

Bought as stocking stuffers and everyone loved them they are cute and a nice lip stain.

They didn’t even last two hours. As soon as I applied the stain, it disappeared with food or water. It’s definitely not waterproof like it claims, which is super disappointing. I bought these years ago and loved them, but now the quality just isn’t the same. I tried them for three days straight with no improvement, so I ended up returning them.

Got these for my makeup obsessed friend, mainly cause they were in cute containers and I saw some good reviews online. I didn’t test them on my lips but a did a couple swatches on my clean hand, let them dry a little bit, then scrubbed at it with a wet paper towel and they’re still there (3rd pic is right when I put them on, 4th pic is after scrubbed at it and drying it off) one of the main negative reviews I saw on these is that they came broken, messy, or looking used. But I didn’t run into any of those issues with these, they’re all in new condition, no messes when you open it. Very cute colors and I can’t wait to see her use them!

So far, I have only tried three of the colors, but I like them. They are lighter feeling than lipstick but not sticky like lip gloss. The color does come off if you are eating something greasy or wipe you lips while they are wet (the same happens with a lot of lipsticks and glosses too) but if you are using a straw or drinking out off a bottle the color does not come off. If your lips do get wet, it really doesn't take long for the stain to dry. I was actually testing these for the pamper packs I make for my friends every Christmas, and these have made the cut.
