EDIT : after 3 days ad centerpiece on the table, this gorgeous Xmas tree DRAINED 3 x AA batteries 😅😅🙈 i noticed the blue, pink and yellow lights weren't working and thought it became faulty ... changed the batteries just to make sure... worked perfectly with the new ones.I know 3 days aren't much, but I kept it on for about 6 hours straight every day.. I would advice to use the adapter plug instead of batteries if not used as centerpiece on Yr tableORIGINAL REVIEWThis is my first Lemax and I absolutely love it. It s just so stunning and perfect I think I ll leave it on the table all year around.Battery operated or plug ( I put batteries in mine, 3 x AAA) , volume control on the back, plays Xmas song Deck the Halls ( one of my fave!!) And has either steady lights or flashing lights.It is expensive at £60 if you think it s "only" a decoration and you ll look at it for 1 month a year only, but it is stunning and the craftsmanship needs praising .This beautiful Xmas tree is now the centerpiece on my table but watch me next year... my little lemax Xmas Village will be made and I ll be there Xmas queen !!!!! 😁

This was so much better than I thought, there are different modes but I prefer the static mode. I'm absolutely thrilled with my tree

I brought this for my mother as a Christmas present and when it arrived it was all broken at the bottom and the box was bashed about too, im extremely disappointed with this as I now don't have time or the money to purchase another or replace it.

This was a replacement ordered for the first one that was broken this one arrived in the same packaging and was all broken again at the bottom so returned again

This musical tree is stunning in my Christmas village! This is the 3rd one I've bought because I love it so much. I bought two for my huge Christmas village where I've placed them in the center of my village set ups and one for my mom's Christmas village. They are expensive, but so worth it in terms of style and that it actually does something.On the back of the tree is the a dial switch for you to turn it off/on as well as adjust the volume. There is NOT a separate dial for music or no music - it's just one dial total. If you want the lights on, but not the music, then you turn the dial til it lights up, but before you hear sound. If you want to see both lights and hear music, you do the same thing, but turn til volume is optimal. I love that the star lights up and all the Christmas melodies as well as the lights flashing and twinkling. By far my favorite piece in my Christmas village.My only criticism is that the battery compartment on the bottom is kind of cheap and needs a better close tab. One of mine snapped a piece off and I had to tape it. You will need a few sets of batteries because these are battery eaters. I have to change the batteries every few weeks during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season because it's on a lot. I just love this tree and how dazzling it is!
