Simple to fit and good quality.
This kit is ideal for a ‘do it yourself’ replacement. It arrived promptly, the instructions were clear and it was easy to do. One tip, stick the tape around the rope before you cut it, as this prevents it fraying. The cut ends can butt tightly together at the bottom of the door.

Better than original
This rope feels quality. Definitely feels better than the original rope that came with the log fire. Very easy to fit with excellent instructions.

Good quality.
Lovely piece of kit but I think we needed the size up but it’ll be fine for now. Very easy to put in the fire grid and good quality too.

Terrible bottle of glue
As others are saying rope is good, but bottle of glue isn’t the best. The lid came off it and the glue poured everywhere.
