UPDATE :The flat cables are available again !Just go for them and don't order directly from HTC ever again, this old-school like version of the 3-in-1 cable just lasts muuuch longer than any "round" cable either from HTC or another brand. It's just a more resistant design.____________________________________________________________________________________________Owning a VR center, and the official Vive cables being very fragile, we tend to change them very often.After deciding to stop altogether with the official brand, I first bought a bunch of the first version of these cables, in a first version similar to the old official Vive cable, 3-in-1 but each cable next to another in a "flat" way. (Cable on the left on the picture)That first version was perfect in the way that the cable would coil less easily and thus preveting internal damage on either the HDMI or the USB cable inside.By switching to a version similar to the official one (cable on the right on the picture), they also adopted their flaws, and now they break just as easily.I would really wish to have the choice to buy the old ones again !

Cable worked great for around 2 months until it suddenly started displaying green static all over my display. I made sure that all cables are connected properly, the issue only occurs when the cable is routed through stock headband like it is supposed to be. The only thing that brings it back to normal is bending the hdmi cable where it connects the headset almost 90° forward. The cabling for this product is lesser quality than the original and probably has cheaper wiring inside it.

My Cable after around 4-5 Months started disconnecting over and over (This is past the Return Date) I have diagnosed it as a broken portion right where the cable hangs off the deluxe audio strap cable guide, so my brand new cable has just gotten to an unusable state at this point, it should be fine otherwise but for the reviews showing it with the Deluxe Audio Strap I'd expect it to work for a while as now I have no headset ):

worked well as a full time vr content creator when my headset died i needed something to get me back up and running quickly and this worked well, however I'm noticing after frequent use it likes to tangle on itself pretty heavily which makes it super annoying not a deal breaker as u can just stretch the cord out just a bit cumbersome is all. other then that it works as intended and well .

this product not only gave me better refresh times than a refurbished link cable that i purchased when i got the headset (i bought it used in 2021 The oe link cable was already done) it has very little stutter. i have a halfway decent set up.Ryzen 9 5900xRTX 306032 Gb Ramand not only does it keep a relatively good fps at around 70-110fps on lower end vr titles the link cable keeps up only at most letting around 10ms of actual lost frames when it gets really intense.Best and maybe only bang for your buck for the OG Vive rn

My 1st cord from them lasted a long time but then gave out so i bought a new one. The new one ended up having issues so i went through a replacement process and everything seemed to be fine for a month before problems occurred again, I reached out to the seller and they were very helpful and understanding on helping me get a new cord.Honestly, very good product overall and amazing service from them.
