I fixed this on my ford eco sport 1.0 eco boost, it definitely improves the car performance especially at higher revs. Would recommend it to anyone who really loves driving as you can feel the difference

A Mixed Bag
i bought this product for my Ecopsort Ecoboost 1.0 litre. After having installed it, I'm not sure yet whether i like this product. FYI, this was not my first tryst with a K&N Air Filter, i have one installed in my Swift 1.3L Petrol and it has done wonders for that car.However, my experience after having fitted one into the ecosport has been a mixed bag. For starters, i received a package which was not sealed at all and in pretty bad shape. However, the K&N Air Filter inside the package was protected by an additional plastic cladding which i hope was not tampered with.After replacing the stock air filter with the K&N one, what was immediately noticeable was that the turbo lag of the ecoboost engine was considerably reduced and i daresay, it almost felt like a natural aspirated one, except perhaps not as free revving. Therefore, driveability in traffic has improved massively.However, the flipside of it has been that the considerable surge of power that used to kick in after the turbo spooled up i.e. after around 1500 rpm is now missing. I understand that as the response has become more instantaneous, the turbo boost once it kicks in might not be felt any longer. However, what i do feel is that the acceleration, post the initial quick response, has slowed down. It no longer accelerates with the urgency (or rather, with the quickness) with which it used to post 1500 rpm. Acceleration post 1500 rpm with the stock air filter used to be very strong. It just seems to be missing that zing now. Will switch back to the original filter and check the acceleration times to figure out whether the loss of performance higher in the rev range is all in my head or a matter of perception since the nature of power delivery has changed.

This is not for models after 2017, it's for older generation ecosport.
This will fit in older models of ecosport, for newer models which were manufactured after 2018, 3117 will fit

Excelente recambio
En cuanto a desempeño, después de 5000 km, se aprecia una ganancia en el consumo de combustible de 1.5 km/l, siempre tomando en cuenta recorridos de carretera a una velocidad constante.En condiciones de ciudad, difícilmente veras una ganancia, más allá del ahorro qué puede representar la vida útil del filtro.

Filtre réutilisable en permanence, qui permet 1 gain d'environ 4 % de puissance sur le véhicule, en raison de la capacité à augmenter l'appel d'air. Conso, légèrement moindre et plus de souplesse constatée à l'usage. Économie réalisée à terme car le simple nettoyage suffit et non 1 changement comme sur 1 filtre papier.

Ottimo filtro.
Utilizzavo già filtri sportivi da sostituire con gli originali, anche di un’altra marca, ma per la mia Fiesta ST-Line 95cv ho voluto provare questo della K&N. Arriva nella sua confezione imbustato e già oliato, non serve fare altro se non inserirlo nell’alloggio, chiudere e partire. Sfatiamo il mito che fa guadagnare più cavalli, probabilmente non guadagna neanche 1 cavallo, piuttosto consente di far andare meglio il motore, con le giuste accortezze, quindi pulirlo regolarmente e oliarlo con prodotto specifico (per la pulizia va bene lo sgrassatore chanteclaire, lo si spruzza in abbondanza lasciandolo agire anche 15/20 minuti, poi lo si mette ammollo sempre con sgrassatore diluito in acqua e anche del detersivo per lavaggio a mano adatto al cotone e lo si lascia ammollo anche per altra mezz’oretta dopodiché lo si sciacqua davvero per bene per eliminare ogni minimo residuo di detergente, non con getto d’acqua potente e neanche con il soffione doccia, va bene acqua calda corrente con rubinetto dotato di aeratore, far asciugare una intera giornata e infine oleare con olio rosso specifico in maniera omogenea senza esagerare, far riposare anche un po’ in modo che l’olio si distribuisca nel cotone e con della carta assorbente tamponare l’olio in eccesso rimasto sulla maschera metallica che tiene il cotone), piuttosto consente in aspirazione di raccogliere ogni minima particella di sporco migliorandone la capacità di aspirazione per un motore più allegro. Per i patiti del tuning, sconsiglio filtri aperti a Como e doppio cono a meno che non si abbia raggiunto un buon livello di preparazione motore poiché in quel caso si perde parecchio in partenza e ai bassi giri mentre i filtri sostitutivi come questo che vanno nell’alloggio box originale sono davvero un ottimo compromesso per preparazioni basiche per circolare normalmente per strada senza andare ad estremizzare il motore e garantirgli una lunga durata.

Espectaculaaaar
Para mi vehiculo una verdadera gozada llevarlo puesto, se nota mucho la ajilidad de entrada del aire al tener pocos ccv, mejorando un poco su rendimiento y escuchando el turbo con mayor silvido,,, deberia estar para toodooos los vehiculos fel mercado y dejarse de los filtros prehistorucos de papel, vale ya tanto papel

Noticeable performance gain
2014 Ford Fiesta SE 1.6, 5 speed. Easy install, half the thickness then the stock paper one. It's already oiled so just drop in.You have to reset your ECU to get any difference from this filter. More air flow needs to be 'learnt' by the computer. Just remove both cables from your battery while you do the filter install, hook up up the battery, start and allow to idle for a couple of minutes, or until the engine speed settles at idle.Quicker pickup, removed a low end splutter on fast take off. Worth the money, without the fact it lasts forever. I haven't measured my milage, so I'll see.Long time K&N filters on motorcycles and never had problems, just clean, oil and drop back in. Always noticed improved performance.
