Excellent Sub woofer that will give you great quality bass without breaking your bank for high end amplifierIt's 200 W RMS so can be easily drivven by Bridge mode in amplifier .I have installed JVC 03 preout HU, Infinity Reference 6530 component speakers at front , Focal AP4340 04 channel amplifier and stock speaker in rear door of my Punto along with this sub in sealed box in boot.My Punto hs become mini DJ Platform now .Go ahead with this over sony JBL pioneer sub in same budget.Have attached few pics of amplifier tuning also

Sounds good in a ported box. I won't mind listening to it for hours as it is not annoying like some speakers out there. It picks up lows pretty good. I know there are better speakers in the marker but for the price it is a very good value.My concern was a little bit of scuff(hardly visible) probably due to shipping on the cone and the surround. I didn't want to spend time on returning it so I just connected it to the amp and I was impressed with the sound quality so I let it remain in the box.If I have to pick on something that would be the packaging from Amazon. In more than one occasion I have been unsatisfied with them.

Good quality stuff with value for money.Make a note ....1. The speaker is different from the picture shown ... however it does not make much of difference2. Although it is a 12 inch size but the outer rim dia is 13 inch.

I have already owned JBL cs1100, 275rms sub. I justed tried R1S412. But the the bass quality is amazing can't compare with the perfect match which mentioned. Amp rms 195rms and amo rms is 200. So this would make sound wonders while playing anything. Highly recommended other than mono amplifiers..👍

Bass qullety I am not expecting for Rockford other wise good

Hi all,I think my review may give you what you all are looking for...If you are looking for a subwoofer with loud noise then this product is not for you.You can either go for pioneer or sony xplod with high rms and high frequency.This product will give you high quality deep low bass which you can feel in every sense.Reason being - lowest frequency of this product.Frequency means - how low or how high frequency a component/subwoofer can produce in terms of sound.Lowest frequency means deep bass and higher than 200 or 250 hrtz is just loud noise or noise pollution.You can feel the earthquake shakes with the lowest frequency component/subwoofer like this one.That is why high quality active subwoofers are always available in these frequency range .(15-250hrtz)I ordered 2 of them for my Home Theatre setup.** I am satisfied with this product,Except the fact that i did not received any screws and grill as mentioned on box. ****Even the design of the cone is different than what they have shown on the website and advertisements.**This is a 200 watt rms component, maximum 400 watts, that means you don't even have to spend more bucks on high wattage amplifiers in order to get the best low bass performance / output of this component.Best i can say is...If you love the sound of JBL then you should know that the lowest frequency of JBL is 35hrtz, no matter, is it 1200 or 1400 series - means it can produce deep low bass upto 35 hrtz at it's lowest frequency.and now if i talk about this product -Rockford fosgate prime r1 s412 produces as low bass as 22 hrtz frequency ,which is rare to find in this price range #unbelievable and beyond competition level for any product available in the market in this price range.Means you are getting a masterblaster for the price of avg speakers available in audiophiles quality sound and big brand options.As per my research only subwoofer with more lower frequency i got online is pioneer tsw3003d4 with lowest as 20 hrtz frequency and that too is above INR12000.Conclusion : This product is completely worth for every single penny that you think, you are going to spend on it.Box type : For me Bandpass box sound much better than ported.It all depends on your taste,Box type,room size and amplifier lpf/crossover settings.Thanx for your time, hope you will not be disappointed with my feedback.

Better than Sony, giving low frequency powerful bass. My car is shaking even at middle volumes. I have connected this in my Suzuki Ignis along with Focal 4340 4 Channel Amp along with Infinity Reference Component speakers and the output is mind blowing. I am using stock speakers at rear and using the stock head unit as well.
