Converting old digital camereas wifi enabled without burning a hole in the pocket...
This is perhaps one of the best economic ways to add a wifi feature that can turn your old digital camera somewhat high end... well, as long as it can support >8GB sd cards.1. The FA class10 makes it a fast high end photo storage device.2. I tried using it on my Canon A530 in the point n shoot cams category and it failed because the camera does not support SD Card above 4GB. 3. However the Nokon L100, which is superior to the generic point and shoot cameras supported the device.4. Though the image transfer speed, seemed somewhat slow (probably because of the large file size),5. I found it was recognised and transfers easily could be done even when the distance between the camera and the wifi receiving device was as far as 10feet of direct and obstructed vision (when the camera and the device were placed in different rooms separated by a wall.6. One thing to be kept in mind is that the sleep mode or auto shut off mode. of the camera will need to be deactivated to make the wireless SD card discoverable and connected to the receiving device.7. Formatting the card will erase all data and one can end up with just a simple SD Card.8. One will need to log on to the Toshiba web site to download and install the software that makes the device functional and set passwords so that the contents of the cards doesn't get hacked by third parties.9. The SD card will need to be inserted into the sd card reading slot of the laptop or pc once only (but every time it is formatted) to get over with these card ID and security setup and card initialisation. It is advisable to keep the installed on the laptop for easy future initialisations.10. The SD Card can be used to log into a wifi internet network too.11. While this feature makes it easy to transfer the photos directly over the internet it compromises the ability to view on the receiving device what is stored on the card.12. One has to use the browser of the receiving device to be able to view the files by typing [...]13. If the "connect to internet" feature remains enabled, the user is routed all the way to the toshiba website as a result of which the images on the card cant be viewed. Disabling the connect to internet feature solves the problem.14. after logging using the address; [...] as seen in the folders can be copied the usual was on the laptop or pc.15. The card automatically becomes visible immediately at the switching on of the camera it is installed in.16. Also if the card worked on the Nokon L100, it will also work on models newer that this.Over all its a good product with features all that one can ask for within the price range.

VERY POOR QUALITY PRODUCT
I am a photo journalist with India Today Group, Delhi, India. This is regarding our newly purchased date card’s- Flash Air W-03 Wireless Lan 16GB Toshiba. Card No. 16141 HT0472 MAC:EC21E519B067.We are very disappointed with the cards we purchased couple of month’s back. The cards do not work properly on our camera’s (NIKON D800).I work with Media and had purchased these as trial so that we can make a bulk order later if it works well. However, after 2 months only they have stopped working. It even hangs the device it is being used with. We are shocked with the quality of the card. We have used multiple brands in the past, but have never encountered such a problem.

Excellent and unique worth every rupee!
After using it for 10 months can only say, it is a unique product which makes it a hell lot easier to transfer photos from camera to mobile. Just download Toshiba Air app from play store. Rest is very easy just remember to turn off auto off from camera menu. And if the pairing is broken just switch off the camera and turn it back on. Also exit the app and restart in the phone. Works every time. And never, ever format the card, it'll become just another memory card. There's a way of putting back the software onto the card, but trust me you don't want to ever go through that! Excellent product!

Simply amazing. It beats all the logic expensive alternatives. Worth buying
It is an amazing piece of SD card which beat every logic of having any expensive alternative. It is just plug and transfer device to my ipHone. All I need to do it to keep the images opened and download the app. It simply detects all the pictures and give you an option to download. Also very good is the option it remembers which photo have already been downloaded so you get a choice to transfer them or not.It is neat and simple setup and works perfectly. It just makes my Nikon D 7000 another super high end iPhone device where I instantly transfers all my pics during a break from one photo shoot to another.
