If you want to do research in computational chemistry . This is the best book to start with.

This is a good book but buy only if you are having special interest in the topic not for someone who has not been exposed to quantum theory previously. But if you have some background then you can try and understand it. I used it during a summer project and found in quite helpful.

Ho acquistato questo libro su consiglio del mio supervisore di laboratorio e devo dire che nonostante gli anni, è un'ottima risorsa. Il libro affronta gli argomenti in modo completo e chiaro. L'introduzione dedicata alla componente matematica è particolarmente utile per coloro che, come me, non hanno una formazione fisica di base. Questo libro è perfetto per coloro che cercano una spiegazione approfondita di alcuni dei concetti chiave nella moderna meccanica quantistica.

Das Buch ist klasse für all jene die schon ein Vorwissen in Physik haben und sich intensiv mit (Post) Hartree-Fock auseinandersetzen müssen. Kaum ein Buch behandelt diese Thematik in diesem Detail und mit dieser Anzahl an Erklärungen.Ein kleiner Trost: Der Stoff ist (zumindest für nicht-Physiker) schwer verdaulich. Auch ich als Physiker kam teilweise ins Stocken. Aber es lohnt sich.
