Toshiba Flash Air III Wireless SD Memory Card 16GB (PFW016U-1CCW)

Yey! Transferring images from Canon 5DMarkIII has become so easy! I was traveling without a laptop, and sometimes you have that itch to share some nice shot you've taken the same day. This card is the perfect way to do it. I was concerned about the fact that it can reduce the battery life, so I do it in a different way, I shoot using Compact Flash memory card, then insert Toshiba Wifi SD card and just copy image on it and transfer it to the phone. But you have to find out if your phone reads RAW forms, mine doesn't, so I just save it on the card as JPG first and after that copy it to the phone. Works perfect, maybe takes a bit of time (around 10 min), but it's much better than waiting a few days till you get to the laptop. So definitely a buy for situations like these.It arrived just in a box without any instructions, have figured out how to do it with the help of comments on Amazon. You just need to download a free app called FlashAir on your phone and turn on Wifi.

Overall it is very good product. Very useful for immediate photo sharing.It has a decent writing speed which enable me to shoot 5 FPS both in JPEG & RAW without any delay. Copying speed through wifi also is satisfactory.But battery draining of camera is little bit faster with this card. Turn off your device while not in use.

After one year wifi not compact with App, too sad

Very very useful to convert a non wifi supporting camera into a wifi supporting camera. I can very easily transfer pictures from camera to mobile. I saved a lot of money as I did not have to upgrade my camera.Recommended for cameras without wifi function.

I received either a fake or used product. There was no company packaging on the product. But when I checked was working. But didn't want to take a risk if it don't last long. So I returned. But will oder the product again hoping will recieve genuine product.

Works just as advertised, the app is nice and user friendly, transfer speeds are fast, can quickly share photos between my phone and point and shoot camera without any wires required.

Guys ppl who dont have a wifi camera or wifi-DSLR should buy this!!!Seriously guys u should buy it, because it can connect upto 8 device to the memory card, and it uses less power, you can save the images in the devices which connected, 16GB storage space, all you need to do is, just buy it, download flash air tool from the website (mentioned in the USER MANUAL) and configure the SSID and assign a PASSWORD to the card and use it in the camera, to share just turn in the camera, connect the phone,tablet,ipod, and your PC (mac/windows) install the flash air app or open the phone browser and put in the address as [...] ,now click an image on the camera and now you can see the images in the connected devices pluse perfectly encrypted.

Product is working as expected. Received on time. But the packaging is doubtful. As attached image you see it was not within company sealed package. Just within a plastic box. I doubt it is an used product. Though it is working as expected. Checked with laptop, mobile and with my Nikon D7100 camera. In camera I have to enable LIVE VIEW mode to enable the wireless.
