400 X 400 ROOF LIGHT WITH BLIND & FLYNET CARAVAN WHITE

This roof light was an exact match on my caravan for the previous one which cracked in a violent storm. The previous one lasted 26 years, so I'm hopeful this will do as well.

If it keeps the rain out perfect and has a cover inside for the sun very pleased with our purchase

Check opening measures from the inside before you buy? Had to cut away 10mm all round.Not as sturdy as the original vent. But it works ok.

I'm very disappointed.It was trial and error to get the right screws to hold the main parts together, I found that a shallow countersinking of the screwholes in the top piece helped guide the screws into the narrow screwholes.The portion containing the flyscreen and blind is very flimsy and I don't have much hope for it's longevity, as this has to be pulled down from plastic catches in square holes, to open, adjust and close the vent.Now we come to the poor build quality. The fly screen is only attached on three sides, the blind was not actually attached to the handle to close it. I did manage to attach it, but again flimsy plastic catches do not give me confidence.I hope the manufacturer will be willing and able to supply the screen and blind section separately.
