Outstanding
I’ve been using this for around 6 years now, its my go to off the shelf rub. Having gone through dozens of bottles of this stuff it is the most consistent off the shelf rub I have used. The flavor is noticeable but not overwhelming, it gives great color and forms some outstanding bark.

Best dry rub ever tried...and how to smoke your butt
This is my favorite pork dry rub.....not too spicy , not too sweet.....just right on the money....combine this with a slow smoked shoulder or butt, you are in for some fine eating...What i do...a little veg oil, rub the pork down, apply this dry rub generously...every part of the meat should be coated. Put in smoker bare on rack for 1 to 1 1/2 hours under high heat (275) and heavy smoke..I like apple or cherry the best....Then, take out put in tin pan and cover tightly with foil....turn down smoker heat to about 215, and then just let the meat simmer in that pan for about 8 hours. Take it out, pour off the juices (save it!!)...let the pork rest for about 5 -10 minutes..then using forks pull it apart, but don't bruise it!! in other words, don't over work it. Pull it apart to that you see nice strands..you do not want to make it mushy!!! ..now here's where the magic is, pour all that wonder Au Ju dripping right back over the pork, and turn it in and mix it well (again, don't over work that meat!!) really good...you'll have the best smoked pulled pork you've ever tasted..put some of your pork on a mini slider bun. Maybe a little daub of BBQ sauce...but if you did it right, that pork will be so moist you won't need anything on it at all...

Good rub.
This is the first rub I bought and its very good. Will try others and compare later. Adds a nice flavor thats not too strong or over spice your meat. Have used it on ribs, whole pork loin and chicken and its a nice flavor and bark.

Incredible taste
This has an incredible taste and has become one of our favorites for smoking meat. I'd recommend giving it a try, obviously everyone has a different taste but it really is worth a try

Nice heat,AWESOME FLAVOR!
Totally LOVED It!First dish was grilled chicken breast slices and fresh Hawaiian Pineapple,and thick diced Vidialia onion,drizzled with Olive Oil, and grilled over Apple Wood . I used a stainless steel basket. Perfect Tang,and heat, we also grilled it with our homemade BBQ sauce. Now I also make my own rub for over 30 years, 50#’s at a rip , this was it’s equal. FABULOUS! We grill year round here in Florida . If you want a GOOD,PROFESSIONAL RUB, Amazon’s got it!
