Went thru 3 Seagate hard drives instantly before finding this one.Perhaps the others were dropping or mishandled or just junk.This HD worked flawlessly out of box.

It's a thick drive.
This drive uses all the space of a 3.5" drive, no slim stuff here. But, that should be expected by a drive that holds 12TB.

Customer Service is terrible
The Hard Drive would not format. Contacting Customer Support and getting a RMA number was extremely difficult and it took several hours.
