Escort& Beltronics Radar Detector Coiled Power Cord

I have a Beltronics V8 that I've had for over 11 yrs. The cord became frayed and had to be replaced. It frayed right at the connection head so I couldn't easily use just electric tape or other electrical tools to fix it. The radar detector was an effective one so I wanted to keep it. Did a little research and found that this cord would work. Bought it and tried it. Worked like a charm. It doesn't have the original V8 power display on the cord, however that's ok. This replacement cord does the trick. Provides adequate power to the Beltronics V8. Plugs into the unit just the same. This is a quality replacement for the Beltronics V8 radar detector

Its inexpensive and just works

This cord is doing exactly what it should be doing, keeping my old Escort Passport radar detector working. The original power cord finally gave up the ghost. This new cord, contrary to some rating posts here, is plenty long enough and works great. Also, the power head plugs into the outlet just fine - it fits well.The cord and fittings/plug seem robust and well made. Of course, I've only had it a month so time will tell if it holds up. I think it will.

Good cord. I wished it did include the mute button when needed.

I bought this as a replacement to a power cord I lost. It's for travel and not having the mute button isn't a problem for a trip. This is a very nice cord for the money. The coil diameter is larger than the factory cord and it's plenty long so reaching long spans shouldn't be a problem.

I’ve had this windshield mount before and it’s a very good upgrade.

Wish it were just a few inches longer, but it works. The coil is so tight that it has pulled the escort off the window a couple of times. As it ages I think it will be better.
