My 10-year-old is on a Jurassic Park/dinosaur kick. I was worried he'd be too old for this toy, but he actually liked it! My daughter described it as "like Polly Pocket but the boy version," and that is a good way to describe the type of toy it is, but I think it is appealing for both genders.

This toy is perfect for anyone that loves Jurassic World, but maybe can't take an entire fleet of giant dino toys with them. We've done so many family trips trying to pack around huge dino toys and this is a game changer. Micro dinos that fit easily in a bag or car for travel? Yes, please. There are different areas inside the T-Rex play set to cover a couple of different biomes with little bitty dinos to go with. I love having more portable non screen toys for my kiddos to reach for especially on car trips and this one is a hit. It's a lot of fun!

The dinosaur head opens, and it has so many great details; theres 4 interactive features within the playset, along with the scenery that looks very realistic. Also included is 3 little micro figures, which are fun to play within the set.This reminds me of toys I had as a little kid in the mid 90s; as it's a playset that then closes up for on-the-go purposes. This toy is great to play with at home, or to take along to different places. Even when the playset is closed, it looks like a neat dinosaur head, which can be displayed on a shelf or desk.I think this toy is very well made; the amazing detailing and features makes it a great toy for a variety of ages and gender. Also, this would make for a great gift option, as everything was presented well. Highly impressed with this toy playset!

We love the waterfall feature of the spinosaurus set! This is so lifelike and awesome! The spinosaurus playset has interactive areas that are fun to play with.
