I had a horrible disease infect my front lawn during a stent of hot wet weather last summer. I had lost 50% of the grass and had tried other granular and liquid fungicides without making an impact. Nothing seemed to work until applying the Fosetyl-AL. Within about a week of applying the Fosetyl-Al 80, the fungus was under control. My yard was left pot marked and scarred but I was able to reseed in the fall and it is now back in great shape.

So I am fighting a loosing battle with Crown Root Rot in my liriope. I've been dousing the plants with cheaper fungicide and finally decided to bite the bullet and break out the big guns with this stuff but there's no noticeable change in the slow devastation. The leaf yellowing and plant decline continues unabated...

This is one of the few chemicals for downey mildew control. Pricey? Yes! But it works. More readily available and cheaper chemicals are a waste of money for that fungus. It also does beautifully controlling blackspot and more common problems.
