Q: Are there any instructions in how to put this together? We just received this and the bridge is not attached.

Be ready to spend extra money if you can’t do it by yourself. No instructions!!! We had to take it to a local music shop who was nice enough to put it install the bridge with the tension of the strings for $10.

Q: Is this cello decent enough quality for a recording session?

This cello has a great sound but the bow can be a bit squeaky with the plastic hairs they use. If you use more rosin than normal, it sounds almost as good as an expensive one but the difference is negligible when recording

Q: What is meant by maple spruce?

Dear customer, the top of this cello is made of both maple and spruce wood. Hope this can help you.
