Great Quality DVD's
I've always kinda preferred Sony's blanks more than Verbatim's. The one set of the latter's DVD's I got weren't very stable and my set had a lot of smudge's and a few wouldn't play. I managed to buy a Sony set years ago and they were very, very consistent I've never had one either refuse to work or skip on me. They are quietly consistent. This set came at a good bargain thanks to a gift card. If Smartbuy sells it you will get a very well packaged set and in much fast shipping time.Only downside was the lack of a proper spindle; instead they are separated by discs for some odd reason.. it looks real weird and just reems of being cheap lol. Not seller's fault you can thank Sony for that. Thankfully the two I have used so far are working well so I'm not taking a point off.

Works in low-speed machines
These blank Sony DVD-Rs are of variable quality. I get them because they're the only disks that work in my old Panasonic DVD recorder. It requires the "low speed", and these are 1X-16X.Usually, a few disks out of each 50 won't work. Usually the machine tells me this before I record but sometimes not until I try to finalize the disk. Those disks that do work are fine: clear video and audio, will store for many years. Sometimes, however, I've gotten a package in which most of the disks won't record. Dealers have generally replaced those at no cost.

Not Worth The Money
This was all done on the same machine. Of the first 10 discs I tried to record on, only 2 would record. Others would give the message "Invalid Region Code. Cannot Play Back" and eject the disc.Since they were all from the same pack, why would only some give that message.Complete waste of money.
