Not suited for high wind
We bought this cover in October to winterize our pool. The cover is great but the tie downs are a joke. It was basically nylon string with metal yard stakes. We rigged our own tie downs and it work great until a day of strong wind that completely ripped the cover apart. So, if you live in a high wind area, this is not the best fit for you.Updated: I will have to say that the seller was extremely responsive to my review and reached out to me immediately to see what the issue was. It has since be rectified and I appreciate this company standing by its product.

Anchors are weak..updated...save your money
When we closed our pool, we put the cover on (pretty easy to manipulate with just two people and over a 4ft pillow). I ordered one for a 16ft round above ground and I got one for an 18ft round. But, that was fine. Gave us some extra to work with. However, when we anchored it with the stakes and "rope" that came with it, it just didn't hold up. This was shortly before Hurricane Helene came through (we live in Virginia near the North Carolina border). The next day, we went out to check on our pool and all but two of the anchors gave in. The "ropes" were snapped. Luckily, we also purchased the clamps to clamp it down to the side rails of the pool and the cover didn't blow off. The cover did hold up nicely. I gave it 4 stars because of the anchors.Update: this thing broke down before we even had our first winter storm. We had it clamped down and because of how big this thing is, it just lifted up the first time a decent wind came through. Now, here we are, waiting on Winter Storm Blair to hits today and this thing is torn to pieces. It just deteriorated. Waiting on a new cover to show up now. Save your money and buy something heavier.

Best pool cover we've tried.
We're seniors and have a little 12' X 30" floating pool. This is the best pool cover we've had. The Intex bubble wrap type released a BUNCH of little blue plastic dots into the water after a heat wave, bursting many of the bubbles. We had 2 of those - the 1st one ripped, the 2nd one is the one that shed the dots. We had one that was just like a blanket, but would sink when it rained. None of them kept out debris. All were "solar covers" but not very effective in either heating the water or keeping it warm. This one isn't great at that either, but it's worth it, just because it keeps the maintenance to a minimum and does heat it some. A little more money and a little more work, but very much worth it. My husband LOVES it!

Decent Pool Cover, But Durability is a Concern
The LXKCKJ 18 Ft Round Pool Cover has been okay for the most part, but I’m a little disappointed with its durability. The cover fit my above-ground pool well and worked as expected for keeping out debris and providing some extra protection for the winter months. It does a good job of being waterproof and dustproof, which is a plus, especially for keeping the pool clean. However, after only a couple of months of use, I noticed that the cover has started to rip at the attachment points. This was pretty frustrating since I expected better durability, especially for the price. I’ve always been careful with how I handle the cover, so the wear at the attachment points feels like a design or material flaw. The cover still works for now, but I’m not sure how long it will hold up, and I’m concerned about it getting worse over the next season. It’s a shame because it fit well and did a decent job protecting the pool while it lasted. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly cover that works for a little while, this one could do the trick. But if you’re expecting long-term durability, you might want to consider a different option that can withstand more than a few months of use.

FINALLY, A Cover That STAYS on!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this item after trying four other brands that didn't work out. The other brands either let water through the cover(in the middle), creating a bird bath for pigeons or didn't stay on when the wind picked up. Super frustrating.THIS cover, however, is super secure and hasn't gotten off once. Also, something I really like about it is that the cover doesn't let water through the top. This means there isn't a pool of water to encourage birds to come hang out and leave their waste on the ground nearby. FINALLY, we found a tub cover that fits all of our needs. The design allows the cover to be more securely placed, while allowing water from the spillways to still release water into the pool. The construction of the cover is solid. You won't rip it if you have to finagle it to put it on(it's quite large and might take a sec to put on your hot tub if you're doing it by yourself). It's very easy to remove for pool service, light to pick up and relocate. Compact enough not to make an eyesore so it can be stowed away during tub use.Haven't seen a single bird hanging out in my yard since, which was the whole point of buying one. They tried at first, but because no water pools on top of the cover, the birds gave up and hang out in the neighbor's yard instead. (Ha ha ha)Everything about this product is a win. I highly recommend it!
