[Dongwon] [God of tteokbokki] Ramen tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cake) / Korean food / Korean tteokbokki / Instant cooking food / Asian dishes (overseas direct shipment)

So I before the quarantine, there’s this place on 33rd and 5th Ave, call ETC and it’s full of Korean and American cuisines. I mean it’s your traditional fast food/buffet place of sandwiches, salads, breakfast, etc. However, it also filled with Korean food and snacks. Things that you cannot find anywhere except in Koreantown in NYC. With this being said, I was honored and blessed to enjoy a delicious cuisine that has spice and sweetness to it. At first, it was too spicy but I couldn’t put my chopsticks down. And this is how I felt with this product. I have been on the hunt to find something similar to what I ate at ETC and I found it. I must buy more. Not only did I enjoy making it because though I don’t speak the language, but with the English lettering helped, my daughter also enjoyed it. We feel like we are back at ETC!! Thanks!!!

Amazing I’ve tried the yopokki spicy rice didn’t really like the flavor. But this was sweet and spicy, now I will say it’s pretty spicy but not spicy fire noddle spicy, adding a little milk to the mix while cooking should cut down the spice other than that I loved it would buy again. Though the price is pretty expensive it’s a 2 serving meal couldn’t finish. Wish I would’ve remembered to add some cheese.

I just received this today and cooked it for dinner. It was easy to cook and didn't take long at all. The taste of it is great, not too sweet, but holy crap, it is so freaking spicy. I love spicy food... but this is on another level for me. I at about 5 bites of noodles and maybe 7 ttokboki while chugging a glass of almond milk and I had to call it quits. I don't regret buying it, I'll just have to eat it little by little lol

I've been craving good, spicy rice cakes so much during quarantine, so I decided to try these.In terms of the spice level, this definitely packed a punch. However, these were weirdly a little too sweet.. and that's coming from a huge fan of sweet & spicy flavor.The tteokbokki themselves were better than other instant kinds I've tried before - decent size, good chew.Anyways, I made 1/2 of a portion just for myself. Didn't finish - decided it wasn't worth the calories to eat all of it. Just meh. I will be searching for a better option before buying these again.

This product is definitely over priced but I really wanted to try it so it was worth it for just the once. It is delicious. The sauce is great and everything cooks perfectly if you blend the directions here and on the package. Soak the rice cakes for 5 mins in cold water then boil it in 300-350ml with the sauce for 4mins add ramen and green onions and stir until cooked. The only thing is it is soooo spicy. I had tears in my eyes and kept eating bc I liked the taste. Would definitely buy again if they had a milder one.

i loved it but its only 1 pack for that much money, I believed it should've been 3 packs but looking back at advertising its 1 so I dont know what's going on

It is a little pricey, but WORTH it if you’re craving rice cakes! I love heat and enjoy fire noodles, so this honestly wasn’t spicy, but sweet. Ramen is great, rice cakes cook beautifully, and the sauce is bomb! I add some cheese and a soft boiled egg with it :)

The flavor is sooo good, but it's way too spicy and I love spicy food. I was only about to take a few bites before I felt sick
