Lovely unit sturdy does the job

Nice solid piece of furniture. The silver bar handles on the 2 drawers were not up to the quality of the cabinet but were easily replaced with a pair from Homebase.Ordered on a Wednesday afternoon and delivered the following Wednesday morning.

The unit is a very nice piece of furniture and we purchased it to match a couple of other pieces we already had. The sizes are spot on with those as described.Overall we are very happy with it and it looks lovely in our lounge.I agree with a previous review that the handles supplied do not match the unit so we purchased a different pair, but that's just our personal opinion. From the pictures it is impossible to see the sides of the unit and we were hoping that the gap at the bottom front would also be on the sides so that the feet of our speaker stands would fit nicely under. However the side panels are flush with the floor so we have purchased some feet to raise the unit up slightly. The drawers are quite small, not big enough for a TV magazine to lay flat but perfect for remote controls!Unfortunately the delivery was very late. When ordered, the expected delivery date was between 11 and 19 days from the order date. This date came and passed. After contacting the seller several times I was eventually informed when I phoned them direct that as I had ordered the item through Amazon my personal details were not passed through which in turn meant that the delivery company could not arrange a delivery time with me!!!??? Am I to assume that none of the items ordered through Amazon will be delivered on time as they have to wait for the buyer to contact the Supplier direct which would probably not happen until the delivery date had expired.I finally received the item 31 days after placing the order and 12 days after the expected delivery date had expired.
