Won't garden without it
I have used grow covers for years now and I wouldn't garden without it. It is great for protecting new seeds and young seedlings and extending the season. I have grown lettuce under grow cover and wouldn't grow it any other way. I have lettuce pretty much year round here in Northern California because of the grow cover. We had a deep freeze the first week of December 2009 and my lettuce kept on growing. In fact I never remove it from my lettuce beds as it reflects the heat of summer better than any shade cloth and we get over 100 degrees for most of July. I usually spray the cover with water during the heat of the day and it keeps my lettuce beds cool. I can also start my warm season seeds about a month earlier if they are covered with grow cover. And once the days get up to 85 degrees the cover comes off my beans, peppers and tomatoes. It does protect your crops from the birds, slugs and snails and other hungry critters. I use mine over hoops that I make with 1-inch drip tubing and have found if I use 2x4's to hold it down instead of poking holes in it to hold it to the ground, it last me several seasons. It's great stuff and worth the investment....

It was great for grass please read my review
This was exactly what I thought it was. Better than hay because you can use it multiple times. It really helped out the grass seed that I layed down by keeping moisture, and heat in. While at the same time it kept bugs out which I mean bugs don’t really eat grass so I’m not sure if that helped in any way. I found it very helpful to be able to cut it into sizes that I needed. I cut it into multiple different stripes and patches and after I was down just hosed it down and rolled it up and threw it where it belonged, in the back of my car. The price to for what you get I thought was great.

Worked great with soaker hoses but the small sprinklers we had ...
Lightweight and yet thick enough to stop even the tiniest bugs. I would suggest buying the arches or using a stake or something to keep it up off the plants. You have to weigh down the edges to keep it from blowing around but you need enough room for the plants to grow. Even though the cloth is lightweight it's tough and won't let your plants grow up if it's too tight or heavy with water.Worked great with soaker hoses but the small sprinklers we had underneath shot right up through the cloth and then pooled up on top because it couldn't soak back through fast enough. We ended up using boards to lift it up a few inches and it worked fine.

Excellent row covers for insect control and frost
I do a lot of gardening and was having problems last year with insects on my zucchini. I read about using row covers to eliminate the problem. These row covers are very sturdy and seem to keep the insects out.I also used these to cover my early planting this year. I planted before Easter (March), and these kept my seedlings from freezing. This drastically improved my planting season and gave me an excellent early harvest.I would highly recommend this product to assist with both insect control in a non-chemical way as well as lengthening the growing season.

For the birds
I grow fruit and veggies in my garden and found that the birds know just when the blueberries and strawberries are ready to be picked. They eat them before I can so I decided to cover the plants with this product and it worked perfectly. Great for frost protection as well.

good, sturdy material
good, sturdy material. it is keeping the rabbits from eating the tops off my bean spouts. will probably order a second one next spring. happy with product. I just purchased 2 more for my 2017 garden. It is great at getting plants started and protecting them from rabbits. The material is thin so do not expect to get more than 1 or 2 years out of it. Without this product I could not get my beans started due to the rabbits.

Worked Great
We had just purchased several containers of plants and out of the blue, we going to get an unexpected freeze. I was worried as I had used covers before and the plants did well for a night and then suffered the following days. We brought the plants into the garage and used the cover. They were so great...the freeze lasted for over 3 days and then plants looked just as great as when we put them in the garage and covered them. The cover was great and worked better than I expected. Would recommend it to anyone that faces this type of issue!

A reorder for me!
Purchased a few months ago and I am reordering. I have raised planter beds with fruit and veggies grown in them. Every year these darn grasshoppers get in there and eat away at my crop, as well as other herbivore bugs. I bought this cover a few months ago, and used spikes to secure this over the beds (like wrapping a present). My strawberries have never looked better!! Also, with this drought and excess heat we have had in our climate, I have had to water very little, and this cover protects the strawberries from the harsh sun. Just watering less has paid for this product. My irrigation in the planter beds sprays water which gets the net wet, and the net then contains the water to the plants and makes a sorta seal to keep the water inside of the beds. I am reordering this product, bc there have been some small tears created by the net getting wet and then heavy winds (and with wear and tear for a couple of months of me opening and closing the "seal" to get to the plants).
