Perfect for getting your sweat on.
Works exceptionally well. It will heat my sauna to max temperature (194°f) in approx 25 minutes. Be advised it does tend to smoke the first few cycles until the manufacturing oils burn off. I recommend not installing the temp sensor directly over the heater as the manufacturer recommends, the room will not heat properly. I suggest before permently mounting the sensor temporarily mount in different locations while using a thermometer to make sure the room temp matches the readings on the control panel. My only negative would be the antiquated controls. The controls get the job done but they look dated and lack the ability to program an on/off cycle.

Great value works as stated!
I have an approximately 400 sq ft space that this heats fairly well all things considered! Still some bugs to work out but I am happy with the sauna quality! Great customer service and reasonably quick delivery in general. Things to know: 8AWG wire recommended (required?) for this run. Definitely mount carefully on solid surface as its heavy once rocks in it. I did not use the included screws and instead opted to bolt through a solid wall backing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE EXTERNAL CONTROLLER if you are looking at that too. Its 8x8 gaudy and requires a hassle to install!

Elements burn out, read whole review please
I bought this sauna a few months ago while I was building my Sauna with all recycled materials. It took a while cause I work out of State and built it in stages on weekends. So I get an electrician out here and he did not put the right breaker in. I though the sauna was faulty. Then I read carefully the manufactures recommendations and it calls for a 45 amp breaker. There was a 40 amp breaker in the box. So I get the electrician back out to my house and have them put in a 50 amp breaker.Holly krap, this sauna heater works so good that I had to experiment to find my sweet spot. The first day I turned it all the way up and it got to 210 in 15 minutes. A tad too hot for me. So I place the heat setting just a bit under half way and my sauna will reach 180 in less than 20 minutes pre-heat. Then I have to turn it off. At just past half way it will reach 210 in less than 35 minutes. So I am very pleased with the sauna. So far it heats up with no problem. Gets my rocks red hot, and they stay hot for hours! Now let me make clear I did not buy my rocks from a sauna maker. I went to Southern Utah near Panguitch and harvested my rocks from a huge volcanic eruption. Thousand of square miles of lava rocks. These rocks are the bomb, and are much better at holding heat than the rocks offered by Sauna manufactures. Take note I added a great deal more rocks to the sauna after the second photo was taken. In summation this Vevor Sauna is a great buy for the money. Gets real hot, just make sure the electrician installs the right breaker with the correct amperage.Update. I am into less than a year with my sauna heater. In that time I have had an element burn out twice. I have decided to replace this POS with a Finlana sauna heater. The first element was replaced for free after that I got no response from the seller. He/said they’d send me another element but never got it.When I open this sauna heater up to replace the element I realized how incredibly cheap the Vevor sauna heater is. A good many of the spot welds had broke loose so I had to perform many repairs with screws. So in to sum it up do not but this Vevor sauna. The elements burn out and it is very cheaply made. There is no customer service so if you gets replacements it can take week, or months or not at all.

Not as hot as I’d hoped
I built a 6’x5’ sauna. First of all it kicks the heat vertically and that’s namely where the heat stays. It puts the heat in your face while your feet are slightly warm. I measured the heat coming straight out of it at 195 but where I’m sitting (3’ away) at about 165 degrees. It’s hot, but only from about chest up.I have since mounted mine 2 inches from ground level an it helped make the heat more dispersed all around, but it’s now only 155-160 degrees at its hottest.

Wiring it up, and sauna rocks
Couldn't find a review that addressed the wiring, so I thought I'd lend some advice.I bought 8-3 wire for this 9kw sauna, and intended to run it to a 50 amp breaker. In the us, it's a 240V, which means you need 2 hots, 120v each. Here's the main thing, when you use the wiring, you only use the red, black, and ground. The white neutral is not used. A lot of units, like dryer or stove have parts of wiring that need a 120v, like a digital timer or a light, but this system is built only on the 240v, so it doesn't need that. With that in mind, the wiring is simple. Red on one side, black on other, put on the 2 pole breaker with red on one side of breaker, black on the other....hook up the ground, but neutral isnt wired up. Good luck. Talk to licensed electrician if unsure at all.Sauna rocks- I bought lava rocks, like what goes inside gas grill...works perfect. Also at first I didnt put the rocks down deep in the sauna, but it does need that. That helps it hold and release heat. Fill it up and then put rocks on top. Picture above doesn't have rocks on top yet.Good luck, good value

Heating element burnt out
I used this sauna heater maybe 10 times before one of the heating elements burnt out. It is now only operating at 2/3s capacity and it takes 70 minutes for my sauna to heat up. I give it a 2 star review because this is somewhat expected for the price. Name brand heaters are 5-8 times as expensive.

Much better than 8KW Harvia heather
My Harvia 8KW heather gets its heating elements broken in about 6 months of use, so looking for a replacement I noticed this awesome and powerful sauna heather, I'm really impressed with how quick my sauna is getting the temperature we like (180o), is saving me at least 33% of the time I need thile heather on.Buying g this new hesther was less expensive than buying just 2 heating elements for the Harvia 8KW heather so I decided to buy this Vervor heather. The replacement was super easy and something very important to do is remove the internal thermostat to avoid having the heather turning off unexpectedly however the performance of this heather is much better than my previous Harvia 8KW heather.Highly recommended.
